difference between Cquartz and Cquartz UK edition

CQ UK is easier to apply, thinner, lasts about a year, can apply in much colder weather CQ still easy to apply but apply a little thinner than uk, lasts 2 years, a little thicker, not cold tolerant for application

    Unpacking my new Flex 3401

It's so nice to read guys giving love to the flex. Lately, with everyone sweating the rupes, you would've thought the 3401 was garbage. :)

    Dlux, cquartz uk, and PERL

This is 21 days later. The wheels are beading and repelling dirt and dust, the perl on the tires is still repelling dirt, and the dlux is beading and looking great. Has not been cleaned since I first posted.

    Flex 3401 or rupes bigfoot.

IMO until the rupes came around everyone praised the flex. The flex could do no wrong. Now it seems as the flex is the red headed stepchild of detailing. I agree that I have never read so many complaints about the flex.

    PERL for Tires

I like it 1:1 and spray it on with a small hplv gun. I spray the first coat and let it sit 5-10 mins and the another coat. By the time I'm done spraying the last tire,vi walk back around and wipe with a mf disk to even it out. Love this look and method. Looks like a new tire for 1-2 weeks...

First BIG shopping list. advice wanted

If you're spending that kind of money, look into the wheel woolies. I love mine. You can use the small one and do your lug nuts. I use them for alot of hard to reach areas--engine, wheel wells, etc

    New Orleans area detailers????

I plan to just do it once it comes in. Just seeing if there were any pros in my area. I've literally watched every application video on YouTube. I'm not gonna tackle this all at once. Gonna just do a panel a day--limited time with school and family.
