    issues with PigTails

I personally love the Trizact 3000/5000, but I hate the 1500. It just doesn't cut very well. Mike, have you tried the new 1500 grit 30667 Purple finishing discs (dry)? Just like the regular hookit disks but ALOT less build up and pigtails! They also make it in 2000!

Of couse not, the shop make more money doing a repair rather than an replacement. Having said that it does look very repairable. Keep us updated!

    Rear Bumper Damage Help

Use a heat gun and heat that sucker up and try and push/ manipulate the crease back in. Be careful not to get the bumper to hot but you may be able to work most of it out. Boejoula was right you should be able to smack the bumper back in as well. Also take a glance at this thread...

What's the best way to remove wax or sealent with out buffing/polishing? I was thinking if my car passes the baggie test, I could just use IPA and Wolfgang Paint prep. Good enough?

The Force Awakens: Spoilers Allowed! Don't read if you haven't seen the movie!

Lol, I felt old watching Han Leia and Luke, not because of the kids or anything like that. They were my heros as a small boy, just odd seeing them in the same roles and how they've aged as those characters. Only way I can describe it.

    BodyShop/Collision Tips

Thanks guys! This subject can be very in depth when dealing with specifics but I thought a few searchable quick tips could help. The easiest way to avoid any paint finishing problems is to look at their finished vehicles. PMs go straight to my email and I'm always available to help!

    BodyShop/Collision Tips

This is false. The only thing that should be "backed" is a factory certification. The insurance company can cut corners and your body shop will not argue because they are hand fed work by the insurance company. The shop should provide the warranty and if your not happy they should pay for...

I left the movie slightly depressed. Either because of Han or maybe I just feel old. Not sure yet, just got home...

    BodyShop/Collision Tips

Recently I have seen a few posts from members who have been involved in vehicle accidents and have needed repairs done through "customer pay", claimant or claimee insurance. This can be a confusing and difficult time because no one plans to have an accident, that's why we call them accidents. I...

What products/brands should Autogeek carry in 2016?

I think this is a great idea Nick! Always nice to try new products to help your customer base and improve the AG selection. Out of all the non-liquid car care products I use, USC Handy Mask has got to be on the top of my list. Perfect for masking off textured surfaces, headlamps, mirrors or...

Well, I have a few "buffing on fresh paint" examples here http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/flex-polishers/97185-year-long-3401-production-review-rotary-finish-compairson.html. I haven't posted a whole lot so far but it may be of some help. Our second largest customer where I work is Ford. The...
