Hey guys, going to do a wax job tomorrow on my daily. Can I use a degreaser to strip the old wax off the paint? Also, I did a quick baggie test and the paint is still smooth as silk after 6 months of the last clay job. Is it necessary to clay? Thanks

It could be problematic. Maybe not so much for the paint correction but for wax. Megs products usually work best at 60f and above. I assume others are similar. Good luck

Hi Guys, I have a car here that is lowered. The wheels poke past the fender a bit and there is tire debris glued/stuck on the edge of the fender (the actual painted part, not the plastic liner). It doesn't exactly come off with a mf towel. Any ideas?

LOL, I can't tell if that's photoshopped. That's crazy. But I do have to clear my snow off the roof especially as they were giving out tickets last year for excessive "snow on roof", typical Canadian BS. Leaf blower sounds like a good idea! Thanks everyone

Sorry, wheels are painted (clear coated) and brake dust is baked on the barrel and in-between the spokes. Face turned out alright

Bingo! You're spot on. They had 3M packing on them and like weird Japanese writing or some kind of East Asian writing on them. I've used mothers clay bar kit and it works beautifully. I meant to say I used the lubricant spray from the mothers clay bar kit (I had some left over from last time).

Literally used the lube provided with the mothers clay bar kit. Also it was done in my garage and the paint was cool to the touch. Maybe i shouldn't have cheaped out to save a few bucks :/

That's the thing, I used a TON of lube. Specifically detailer spray and it was still grabbing the paint like crazy. Mind you I clayed this car last year so the paint and the paint didn't feel that bad.
