I sold my 3401 and gg6. Retained my pcxp and just use 4inch pads. Use mf pads mainly. Then crimson Pads for finishing if necessary.

I want ti simplify things. I only use one pad size for my pcxp and that's the 4in. Great correction capability due to the pad size. I only use optimum cutting mf pads and lc ht crimson pads for finishing. For heavy scratches, i have 2 4in surbuf pads stanby. Compounds m105 and d300...

I only use 4in pads with my pcxp. Optimum mf cutting pad for correction and if there's any light marring left behind, ill follow It it up with 4in ht crimson pads with m205, menz 106fa or sonax ntpc depending on the paint. And it's done.

Its worth it

We are talking about gg6, pcxp and megs 110v (non forced rotation). If your experience with that machine is the larger the pad the better correction. Then so be it. My experience with those is contrary with yours.

Ill get one. Even though i have cars that are more powerful. Will be placing my order later

IME correction time is almost the same when using mf pads on a da and 3401 using foam pads. I use only 4in pads with my pcxp. The larger the pad, the less aggressive it is on a da.

Opposite for me. Bought the pcxp then gg6 and 3401 last. If the mf pads technology was only released in 2009, i should have not bought the gg6 and 3401. Waste of money for me. Pcxp is enough.

Sold my 3401 and gg6. Pcxp is the one left and happy with my decisions.
