    temp for waxing

As long as whatever surface you're applying it to is clean, and you have enough clean mf's to wipe it down, it should be fine :xyxthumbs:

    temp for waxing

The OP is from IL, where it prolly gets real cold in the winter. I think the ideal temp for polishing/waxing is in between 45-85 degree's, preferably in between 60-80 degrees :xyxthumbs: :buffing:

    Question about 3M Compound?

Re: Question about 3m polish Setec Astronomy is suggesting that 105 will do the job, and leave behind a better finish so you don't have to spend all day removing the scratches you just instilled with the rubbing compound, and possibly an inferior technique, or pad/compound combination...

    Porter Cable Polisher

If you use a clean, fresh towel with any instant detailer, using a good technique will not, or should not harm the paintwork at least 99.9 percent of the time if you do it right.

Man dies at 102 owns same car 82 years - great picture!

It prolly can't stop very well. It does have a powerful 7.7 liter (468 C.I.) I6. This car is also refered to as the "40/50 Phantom", meaning either 40 or 50 bhp. Cars in those days did not come with seat belts. I'd hate to get into a wreck in something like that at 50-60+ mph.

Well, at 102 years of age, he sure didn't die in an off road rally or something Or a jet ski accident or something? Edit: Wasn't he skiing down a mountain at 90 mph when he crashed?

    I need a good camera!

If you decide to go DSLR, you gotta bite the bullet and get a good lens, preferably a high quality wide angle zoom lens.

    I need a good camera!

Any of the digital rebels are good, and some of the newer mini-digi cameras shoot some decent pics in full auto mode.

Waxing with Natty's in the cold

After a 56 degree day, it is now, or almost freezing here in the Nor Cal. At only a little bit after 6:00 pm, it's 37 and dropping. 97% humidity makes it feel like 32 degree's. It will be near freezing in the next couple of hours. The truth is, my car don't need any cleaning done to it, so...

CA lotto is $355,000,000 what would you buy??

I already read that. I posted a pic of Eddie Murphy. He did a great skit where if you were married to a man like Johnny Carson, you wouldn't have no job. If you had $5.00, and had to give somebody 1/2, that would leave you with $2.50. Wouldn't that make you mad? Johnny had to at least...

Car Makers Tightening Up On Paint Thickness

Unless there is an inherent factory defect, I wouldn't even trip. There is no need for an auto body shop, or spraying or anything.
