Tile floor and grout cleaning help

I have a bit of experience here...Since you didn't mention a steamer I assume you don't have one. I always custom mixed my own cleaners using a Simple Green base; some caustic soda (lye); and something to bubble/increase the dwell like Oxi Clean, hydrogen peroxide or even Dawn. Obviously this...

    Wet/Dry Vac Horsepower Needs?

Be careful of shopping horsepower ratings--they don't mean much in consumer line vacuums anymore. A 1hp Dayton will outperform a 5hp consumer edition Shop Vac. Not to say the consumer versions won't fill your needs, just try to look up the meaningful specs like water lift and CFM and base your...

    CR Spotless : Real Review

So this water costs $0.45/gallon, not counting the initial investment in the system. Is it that much better than the high quality RO water I can get at my local grocery store for $0.25/gallon?

Help Me Get Rid of Brown Stain

This!!!:xyxthumbs: Use the wet towel/iron technique (if you don't have a steamer) after letting the 50/50 ammonia/water dwell for a couple minutes. Like this from another thread: It works on many stubborn stains, not just red.

    Water tank protection?

Originally, but this guy's been using it with good results on headlights: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/show-n-shine/37701-headlight-sealant-spar-urethane-vs-opti-coat-2-0-a.html Headlights will flex and expand due to movement and temperature changes, though maybe not as much as a water tank.

Horrible Salesmen.. WHAT NOT TO DO

That sucks! My favorite story from my time in the car business is from my buddy. He was selling Porsches in Hawaii and had a customer on the lot that nobody else helped. The guy was wearing paint soaked coveralls and literally looked like a house painter. Turned out to be the muralist...

    Water tank protection?

Or just use a flex agent and adhesion promoter in the paint like on urethane bumpers. Why not just opti-lens it? Or the spar-urethane method?

Been there, done that. A nice make-up compact with coke in it under the back floor mat of a BMW 15 years ago. People really don't think we'll find it??? What's the statute of limitations since I failed to report it:) ?

    Giveaway! New DP Products!

I'll throw my name in the hat just for giggles. I say it that way since I honestly have no idea what DP product I'd even want to try :) I'm more a Meg's, Autoglym, and home mix formula man. If you want a brutally honest review though....

    My candidate for worst interior!

Thanks for the kind words! I honestly believe it never was touched in its 165k miles. I call this a 9/10 effort: any further effort wouldn't yield enough appreciable result.

    My candidate for worst interior!

The outside had its challenges too: A little time with my ThermaKleen steamer: and all better: You'll notice a slight discoloration where all that tar was, but it polished up fine using the DAMF system:
