    hot/steam pressure washer

Doesn't have to be too expensive. I found a used Therma Kleen 1000 (1000 psi, turns to REAL steam) for $350. There is a marked difference between a hot water pressure washer and a true steam capable unit. For tar, engines, even compound removal, I really like the steam capability. I even...

    Best radar detectors.

The "Polish Radar Detector" works well for me. I normally cruise at about 5 over until the guy doing 20 over passes me, at which time I up my speed to his and keep a couple hundred feet back in the right lane. It's saved me a number of times from tickets by seeing them slam on their brakes at...

    Detailing in the desert

It was 100 degrees in the garage I was sanding a car in last week (about 1.5 hours from Vegas). Shade is a must, but of primary importance is your hydration. A gallon plus in 8 hours in those conditions still barely cuts it when its 110-115 outside and your garage is humid from the sanding...

What do you do when you drop a microfiber in the ground?

I'm sorry, but I just don't buy it even though I agree with your overall view. While $20-25k/month isn't a shabby income, it doesn't support 5 homes in 5 states (especially if married), unless a trailer on land constitutes a home. Are you using the Belize property to produce an income?:Picture:

    Opinions needed!

You know what they say about opinions... Do you keep your trailer parked inside or outside? Is your address listed on your website? You are right to be concerned--a trailer is easy to break into, but a small storage garage can be rented pretty inexpensively and give you lots of protection.

Valspar 173 slow reducer. Works wonders where thinners won't, like on urethanes.

    Rupes 15 on Vertical Panel

Look up "Rupes washer mod". There are a few threads floating around about it. It (combined with some technique practice) is supposed to really help keep the Rupes spinning.

    Wetsanding with 2k grit

I just read that again and realize it might have come across as terse. That was not my intent, but I am wondering what your technique is so we can help. Are you sanding by hand or machine? How much sanding experience do you have? Are you getting a nice, even pattern without tracers? Any...

    Wetsanding with 2k grit

Adapt can remove 2000 sanding marks (though not the most efficient) while using a DA and you're not able to with Cut on a rotary? I think something's off in the technique... To more directly answer the question though, given the body shop environment and for a price point similar to Cut, I'd go...

If you have a steamer, they are great at cleaning compound from rock chips.
