Another Jersey transplant here too. Spent many mornings waking up in my car in Seaside, as well as many days as a volunteer FF too. Now in Florida and glad to see someone looking out for the people that look out for others. Florida generally doesn't share this spirit. See you guys at Geekfest!

What would be the hardest finish you could apply to a vehicle finish in order to protect it from swirls, light marring, and everyday scratching? For example the deal of the day is a wax for $99.00 but what other protection does this offer? Thanks in advance.

I actually just had my car done with xpel paint protection film and had custom cuts made to protect them inside for things like this. Rings do damage. As far as polishing the power ball will just get jammed up in there and can burn. I am sure you will get a few good ideas on how to repair it but...

The 505 says it will, I guess it depends on how deep the stain is. If it is old and the minerals have really embedded into the paint then I would guess a more radical treatment would be needed. What have you tried so far?
