How to Clean & Coat the INSIDE of your car's wheels

Nice work! I need some stands badly. Mike, what temperate max will that wheel coating withstand?

    Very hot Flex XC 3401

Mine is one of the originals from years ago. If it breaks and I buy a new one then I won't lube the ring anymore:xyxthumbs:

    Very hot Flex XC 3401

Actually it is recommended if you apply a lot of pressure or are on a slight angle once in a while. It was also stated that it does not hurt to do it so why not take the precaution? The issue of the burnt backing plates a few years back was stopped by taking this precaution. If it doesn't...

    Very hot Flex XC 3401

I use a lithium grease on the felt ring. I usually apply twice a year. No need to over do it. And yes a good extension cord.

Ok to use a QD before applying a second coat of sealant?

I would just rewash the car if it is too dirty to apply a second coat.

Flex 3401 generates a lot of heat?!

I have been using my 3401 for years now without issue. Yes it gets a little hot sometimes. Make sure you use the right extension cord and lube the felt ring a little.

Lake Country Flat and CCS pad questions

The black/grey lets the finishing polish do its thing. No chance for the pad to cause marring. It works good with menzerna finishing polishes by letting the abrasives diminish and leave a nice gloss. The pad is strong enough to help eliminate minor marring and fine swirls. There are 2 green...

Lake Country Flat and CCS pad questions

I use the black/grey pad for finishing polishes(optimum finishing, menz 85rd/106fa and etc). Light green pads for one step like power finish, 106fa and optimum hyper polish.

    Pinnacle Product Not Working

:iagree: I really didn't like the pinnacle either. It gets to tacky when working. Dodo lime prime lite is easier to use. But like stated above, you really don't need to use it after polishing. Kind of a wasted step and time.

    Menz power lock won't dry!

A little harsh don't you think. I never apply a LSP with a DA. What does that have to do with anything anyway? Even if it was applied thick, wiping it, then letting it sit again should help it dry. If it is still smearing then maybe something is wrong. Unless you sit and watch these guys...

    Menz power lock won't dry!

Did you rewash the car after polishing? So you say you didn't IPA? I would think that the oils from the polish are preventing the sealant from drying and bonding. Do you get a smear after wiping it? I get this problem from time to time. But only if the polish is not fully removed. Usually...
