    MASSIVE Wolfgang Giveaway! NEW Products!

Have yet to try any Wolfgang products although I would like to. The new products that most interest me are the Uber wheel cleaner (BMW, nuff said...) & the Cockpit trim sealant as my interior is a very light grey which can get dirty very easily... All the pad products would also be great for...

Removing tire scuff from interior plastic

Sort of thing that magic eraser could work on? Although you need to be very gentle as it can dull any shine, etc...

Is leatherique enough to clean dirty beige seats?

Bob have you personally compared the 2 kits you mention? If so I am assuming the LM is easier to use, quicker, less messy, etc but how are end results?

Clay Bars on other websites (Ebay and Amazon)

Dynamic, was the eBay item you tried one of the blue 3M ones from Hong Kong? Just received 2 of these ($4AUD ea, delivered) but haven't had a chance to try them...

What do you use to clean upholestery?

I like terry cloths. Have a little more bite than MF which helps for dirtier leather...

    brake dust and tire cleaning

I use Megs Super Degreaser (@ 4:1 or 10:1) & a stiff brush for cleaning tyres. Brilliant! Collinite 845 for wheel protection, although I plan on getting some new wheels soon & these will get OC before they're fitted...

what is the best way to clean clay bar?

I think I remember in Nicks review for the BF product above, he used a soft toothbrush to gently scrub the clay before folding or re-using. It couldn't hurt to try this with your clay lube or a VERY mild soap solution before trying anything else...

What is your faviorte wash mitt?

Curious about this statement. Just wondering what difference you see in the colour of the wool that makes the GTechniq mitt much higher quality than the Carpro or any other? Is it the fact it is whiter? Both are Merino wool so materials are obviously not the answer. Haven't used that mitt & I'm...

Advances in hydrophobic chemicals, detailing applications?

Yeah, I've been waiting a long time too & am wondering what the delay is... Stuff looks magical! Thought someone on here must have heard about it! If you hear anything definitive be sure to chuck up a thread...

Advances in hydrophobic chemicals, detailing applications?

Check our neverwet.com Super-hydrophobic coating with a claimed contact angle of 165-170 degrees. Some of their videos are absolutely amazing! Not yet for sale to the public but should be soon

    Brush for cleaning tires

Correct. Spray the tyre & scrub, the solution will foam up as you scrub & with dirty tyres the foam will be brown. Rinse & repeat until foam is white. I use a pressure-washer which helps but you should still get good results if you don't use one. The initial cleaning may take 2-3 applications...

    Leather Scuff Repair

Y2KSVT, I would assume with the area scuffed that the coating may have worn away so that shouldn't be an issue IMO. Have seen fantastic results with Swissvax leather healer products, which seem very similar to the kit mentioned above.

    Brush for cleaning tires

I use a STIFF scrubbing brush (made for cleaning BBQ grills, etc) & Megs Super Degreaser at 4:1 for dirty tyres or 10:1 for maintenance. They're tyres, they're not going to get scratched & I find some actually need quite a hard scrubbing, even with a very stiff brush, to get that new look...

    Leather cleaning brush

Interested to hear from users of this too. I have one but haven't had a chance to use it yet. Was quite surprised by how stiff it is! I know leather in new or excellent condition can take a decent scrubbing but on older vehicles I would be very careful. I picked up a very similar brush from a...

Collinite Sapphire PreWax Cleaner #840 issue?

Haven't used this myself (see below) but on the AG product page they mention that #840 will need to be buffed off almost immediately & seem to suggest it may be best used by hand. If using a machine they suggest working no more than one panel at a time before buffing... Did you do this or work...

    Opinions on Window Tint?

Personally I don't think tint looks ghetto or unclassy at all. Limousines & some of the most prestigious cars are normally tinted, although that's quite often for privacy reasons. I also think the dark black would look good against your white paint... Get my cars tinted for looks, heat...
