Sort of thing that magic eraser could work on? Although you need to be very gentle as it can dull any shine, etc...

Bob have you personally compared the 2 kits you mention? If so I am assuming the LM is easier to use, quicker, less messy, etc but how are end results?

I like terry cloths. Have a little more bite than MF which helps for dirtier leather...

I use Megs Super Degreaser (@ 4:1 or 10:1) & a stiff brush for cleaning tyres. Brilliant! Collinite 845 for wheel protection, although I plan on getting some new wheels soon & these will get OC before they're fitted...

I think I remember in Nicks review for the BF product above, he used a soft toothbrush to gently scrub the clay before folding or re-using. It couldn't hurt to try this with your clay lube or a VERY mild soap solution before trying anything else...

Check our neverwet.com Super-hydrophobic coating with a claimed contact angle of 165-170 degrees. Some of their videos are absolutely amazing! Not yet for sale to the public but should be soon

Correct. Spray the tyre & scrub, the solution will foam up as you scrub & with dirty tyres the foam will be brown. Rinse & repeat until foam is white. I use a pressure-washer which helps but you should still get good results if you don't use one. The initial cleaning may take 2-3 applications...

Y2KSVT, I would assume with the area scuffed that the coating may have worn away so that shouldn't be an issue IMO. Have seen fantastic results with Swissvax leather healer products, which seem very similar to the kit mentioned above.

I use a STIFF scrubbing brush (made for cleaning BBQ grills, etc) & Megs Super Degreaser at 4:1 for dirty tyres or 10:1 for maintenance. They're tyres, they're not going to get scratched & I find some actually need quite a hard scrubbing, even with a very stiff brush, to get that new look...

Haven't used this myself (see below) but on the AG product page they mention that #840 will need to be buffed off almost immediately & seem to suggest it may be best used by hand. If using a machine they suggest working no more than one panel at a time before buffing... Did you do this or work...

Personally I don't think tint looks ghetto or unclassy at all. Limousines & some of the most prestigious cars are normally tinted, although that's quite often for privacy reasons. I also think the dark black would look good against your white paint... Get my cars tinted for looks, heat...

I use the DP as a medium clay & have had no problems.
