2004 BMW M3 | Paint Overspray Removal & Paint Correction | Incredibly Detailed

Sounds good. We're renting a townhouse that has a garage. That's gonna be crazy for me because I wash and polish on the side of the road now. I actually have to hook my hose up to the kitchen sink and hang it out the 2nd floor window. We looked in that neighborhood by Weis where old 40 meets...

    Harbor Freight polisher question

Use a coupon, grab a 5" LC backing plate, and you're good to go. I also have a 3" LC backing plate that I use with smaller pads. The cycle brushes work great with it too. I believe this is more on par with the GG 6" - it is more powerful than the PC. The PC is a great tool, and nearly...

What do you use to blow dry at the coin op? Or do you take it home and use a leaf blower/master blaster?

If I claybar, do I need to use a cleaner wax/polish before wax?

If you're comfortable with the paint, then you can move right on to waxing (provided you've washed away any clay residue). On that color it may be difficult to tell, but claying almost invariably leads to at least some marring. I usually follow up claying with a fine polish prior to LSP.

Chemical guy odor remover work on clothes?

The same things happens to towels (bath not microfiber :)) I've found that by using baking soda for the wash, then a cup of vinegar in the rinse cycle (you can rinse again with just water if you want) - the smell goes away for a couple of months. You can try borax with the baking soda as well...

    Review: Lake Country Wash Wedge

I've used this twice, and the foam is separating from the handle. When washing it lays relatively flat on the panel, and could potentially drag contaminants if not used on a well maintained car. I like the non-abrasiveness of the foam, but I don't think this wedge is for me.

    DP Paint Coating Question

I wouldn't use the Prep Polish again, but a quick wash (waterless, rinseless) would be needed if it's been exposed to the elements. I'd recommend wiping it with at least a QD even if it was in a garage.
