Do I Need A Foam Canon?

I don't own a foam cannon so take this with a grain of salt but from my research, foam cannons have two huge benefits. One: you can maxamize time (in theory). Its meant to truly be a productivity orientated item, just like a dedicated wheel cleaner or machine polisher. Yes, you can achieve...

I feel the same way aswell! Detailed this guys f250 for him, first real customer outside of family and friends! And god when it came to asking for the money I felt terrible. Yeah sure I worked for 5 hours and was asking a wee $115+tax, and yeah the guy was absolutely blown away and was asking...

    Mercedes Sl 600

I second that ^ used those to get off some transfered paint from another source that was on a customers truck and it worked wonders.

I like the 100ft extension cord from home depot. It has a few limitations but really excels when accompanied by a outlet 😁

Recommend me a bag for my new Mt-300 polisher?

I got a hardcase tool box on sale at Fred Meyer for 10 dollars. Holds my compounds, pads, DA, wax and clay. And its not a tote, about the same size as meguiars detailing bag, just hard cased and with a handle on top. Also got a dewalt bag almost identical to autogeeks bag for about 10 dollars at...

    Getting new customers

I am in college right now and just started doing detailing recently. What I did was if you can find a few buy sell trade groups on facebook, post up your flyers, and then bump the post once every 2 hours to keep it on top, you will get a lot of attention. I posted in about 6 buy sell trade...

Giving maintenance care guide to customers

I am also interested in getting a good, concise one of these going that we could all use. I'll try to write up a good portion of mine before I hit the hay tonight and I'll share it once finished. I think the real challenge will be finding a medium between informative and concise. Think if a...

Giving maintenance care guide to customers

Thanks guys! I am going to probably do a simple 1 page pamphlet write up about how to do a rinseless wash and regular wash and avoid marring. And I will probably also steal 3D's idea of the small section on leather care. Oh and dont forgot the cautions like not to use dish soap, terry cloths...

    Price for detail

I am just starting out and to get my prices adjusted to market value I asked like 3 or 4 different shops for quotes on my 3 vehicles seperately in multiple of their packages. That way I could see what they were offering and at what price. And then I simply aimed my prices towards the...

Giving maintenance care guide to customers

Do you guys give out guides to customers explaining how to do regular maintenance such as washing? What to avoid? How to deal with bird left overs, caring for leather, etc. etc. at the end of your details? I am curious since I was typing up my own how-to diy car care guide to hand out at the...

    extension cords

What I did was get a 100ft heavy guage and a outdoor suitable 3 way splitter. Also got a nice cord reel and attached the cord at the halfway mark before wounding. Sits in the back of my truck, I can always just pull out as much as I need and put the reel halfway between. Easy clean up and can...

E46 M3 Rims. Never came across rims in this condition. Questions/Pics inside

From a BMW enthusiast standpoint, those rims aren't any thing special, nor are they cheapos. They are stock e46 rims I believe and aren't super prestigious among the community. Heck my friend picked up a set for 200 like a month ago, cleaned up to near perfect. So don't fret to much about them...

    Nissan GTR NISMO crash

Thats amazing how those full bottom splitters can just act like a chute and project a car. Thats sad to hear though, my heart goes out to the family dealing with the loss and I cant imagine the weight the driver has on their shoulders.
