    Is iron X really needed?

The coating covered the particles. You likely won't be able to get them unless you remove the coating first.

    Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Black Edition

What's your technique for wiping up the drool while working on these beauties? Great work as always! Amazing car!

Air Force One... shining a part of American history.

Wow! That connie in the back that's rotting away needs some love too. I love cars, but I love planes more. Great work!

    1st attempt with DA

Nice job! If it wasn't for 360, my truck wouldn't look as good as it does. I usually use 360 in the spring, and hi def in the fall with fast wax as a drying aid during weekly washes. Water beads up nicely and the metal flake really pops. Out of curiosity, how long did you wait in between...

    Ozone generator - non-commercial use

Update to this: Until I get my oldest potty trained, the diaper pail gets twice as many diapers as usual. My son's nursery smelled horrible. Ran the ozone machine in it for 30 minutes today, then let the O3 dissipate. Stench gone. This stuff works!

    What Was Your First Car?

87 Plymouth reliant "K" car given to me by my grandpa when he could no longer drive. In exchange, I had to take him where he needed to go, including the occasional run to White Castle. I loved spending time with him so I definitely came out ahead on the trade. It was a beater. Complete...

My new (to me) project car

I have an F-150 crew cab and explorer. Buy. More. Pads. Over the course of the last couple years, I've waited for good sales and buy a 6-pack every time. I'm up to about 30 and it's so nice to just pull one off the plate, toss it in a bucket of pad cleaner, and let it soak while I work...

My new (to me) project car

Nice job! With all the effort you're putting in, it will be worth taking the wheels off to clean the backside. I don't know how similar the Z paint is to my wife's previous car, a white rogue, but it really needed a chemical decontamination too. I'm sure with how poorly the previous owner...

    Ozone generator - non-commercial use

I have one that I use on my hunting clothes. I'll let it run for a few minutes in my truck as I'm driving to my property since it's a 3 hour drive and I usually eat and whatnot on the way up there. The 5 minutes doesn't quite get rid of the odors outside of the duffel but it lightens it. The...

    Best 5” pads

    2017 GMC Denali Special Edition

That's one hell of a family truckster. Nice work as always! If anybody has kids, or uses their SUV to haul stuff around, those weathertech trays that go in the back are amazing!

    HD Speed without correction needed

I've gotten 4-6 months with 360 with no problem. On the lower side was through winter, with less frequent washes, road salt and all that fun stuff. I use high def in the fall because it is more durable, and my truck doesn't fit in the garage to do a rinseless on it when it's below freezing...

    HD Speed without correction needed

White pads and 360/speed don't do a ton of correction to my ford paint which seems kind of hard. If I need correction when using 360 I use orange thin pro pads. They do a good job for light correction. Why bother with HD Speed on the other car? He has it, it gives good results, and saves...

    Ubercicle

Its cold. I discovered my bottle of Uber concentrate, as well as a spray bottle full of it completely frozen. Also had a full bottle of fast wax freeze and spill. Glad I brought my expensive waxes, compounds, polishes and sealants inside before it got cold. I guess I better box up the rest...

Amateur detailer looking to upgrade his polisher and perhaps pads and products - Advice needed

Have you compounded every year? You may want to make sure you have enough clear coat left to continue doing so with an aggressive pad and compound like you're doing. If you're swirling the paint so much that you need to do that much correction every year you may want to consider revising your...
