Looking for a High Gloss Tire Shine that doesn't sling.

I have been using Tuff Shine which holds up well but the shine does mute some raily quickly which is fine for me. This year I am trying M37's tire coating which seems quite similar to the Tuff Shine. I am prepping a new set of snow tires for winter and just finish coating them and the shine is...

    Pro vs prosumer vs DYI

If I could buy Skin I would use that with CSL. Both of those are 1 coat products where Syncro wants 2~3 coats of mohs and 1 of skin while the Gtech combo wants 1 coat of CSL and two of Exo. Exo v4 is a lttle better than v3 as far as application and performance but just a lttle and also is a...

    Pro vs prosumer vs DYI

I don't know how close to a pro product it is but is a very good product. I polished off a year old CSL/Exo coating on my car just from what I saw performance wise on a test panel I did. The water behavior and self cleaning was better I don't know about logevity tho. Here is a shot of the test...

Finishing polish for new Audi with very hard paint

When I did my S5 the paint looked good but it took FG400 and a MF pad to correct and I finished with either 3800 or 4000 (I could not see a difference in finish quality). 2500 and I also tried Adapt but not enough cut. Here are closeup picture of before and after of my hood. My color is quite...

    Post Your Unpacking Pictures

Before I took this picture I cleaned the bench. 1st was the 3D apc at 3oz to 1 gallon ant it was ok then I used M37 whgich was mixed at 6~7 to 1 and it cleaned much better but was at a stronger mix. I might add another oz to that mix to give a stronger product. For light duty stuff I actually...

Gyeon vs. GTechnic which do you prefer.

Well I washed the test car this morning and will say that the areas topped with Skin were much cleaner than all the others. While those pictures show the Skin sections to be dirtier when washed they are far cleaner. There is a residue on all the other sections that won't come off with washing...

Gyeon vs. GTechnic which do you prefer.

It is rated 3100psi and 2.8gpm But my gauge it is around 2900 and drops to about 2500psi when rinsing with the white tip. Here is a short clip showing the pressure. https://photos.smugmug.com/PW/i-T3ChjkT/0/65e54dd3/1920/PW-1920.mp4 There was dilution that was the aprox amount added to about...

Gyeon vs. GTechnic which do you prefer.

I am pretty sure for that it had about 3oz of Gyeon Foam (my normal mix) and 6+ of Hyper-wash by looking at the color to try to get more foam. It was the first try with the PF22. The problems with having very hard water. My other canon does better but still leaves a lot of room for improvement...

Gyeon vs. GTechnic which do you prefer.

I personally like working with the Gtech a little more than the Gyeon. But the slickness of the Syncro kit is hard to top. This spring I did my Car with Syncro and leather shield on my leather. This weekend I did a F150 that my son just got and it pretty much is all Gtechnic. Coated with...

The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

Here is a picture of mine coming out of the VA and the 1 year anniversary of my heart attack last July 10th and the good news I wont have to see her again (hopefully). This is with Syncro at a little over 3 months, windows with G1 and CSL/ExoV3 on the wheels.

The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

Here is a picture of my pair. My poor Audi hasn't had a wash in over a month and has been sitting outside for the last 3 weeks. T%hat should change next week tho. This is the first time in over 2 years I got one with both, next time I will be sure they are both clean.

Back into detailing w/ coating questions and more!

For ease of use and durability I really like CSL. It can be applied in a large range of temps, it has no wait for it to flash after application, wipes off real easy and is quite slick feeling. On my leather I use Geyon leather shield. I have Gtechniq G1 on my glass even tho I don't know how it...

    Gtechniq CSL/exo v3 combo question

They have a wide range in temps for application. The time for exo to flash changes a little but that is about it. I have in the last year applied in temps from the mid 40's to mid 80's.

    Finishing polish suggestion

You know I agree on the PA since I just finished my car with it and followed it up with Escalate lotion topped with syncro. I also used it to finish the flat surfaces of a black KIA I used to test a couple different coating and topper combinations.
