M205 is a finishing polish though. However, its versatile as its pad and paint dependent. I did M205 with a black finishing pad on my car and it came out perfect due to soft paint. I have even tried it with a White pad and a orange cutting pad and it worked, but the orange pad left a little...

Agreed. I used Meguiars Leather cleaner and conditioned on my Gti's steering and it was amazing, but the conditioner left it a little slippery. I had to though as I cleaned it after 1 year of owning the car. DOh! Since I got my Accord I have been on top of it so QID is allll i need and love it...

Identical to what I do. Before WG trim sealant I used Aerospace 303 once. Both good protectants, but being a sealant I switched to it. :)

When I had hard paint, I would clay and re-apply the same sealant with zero issues. If I am changing it up, a cleaner or a very fine polish at least is what I would recommend Now with soft paint - Ive used a light polish twice in the one year ive had the car. So I can't comment on that tbh...
