    Gold plush jr microfiber towels

I use the plush side for wax/detail spray/spray wax removal and I use the short nap side for polish removal. This applies to all my towels. Recently I applied a coating and used the short nap of the grey plush towels for coating removal.

Lake Country Force Pads at AG?

As Mike said, set to be launched at AG with the new flex. Others already stock it and people are reaping the benefits of it...except AG customers for some reason :P Another point to note is that for some reason....I don't understand....there are no 5" pads. Its 5.5", so those who have the...

Can I use towels I cleaned polish with for detail?

Go for it! Polish is supposed to be water soluble so as long as you washed it with a good microfiber cleaner you are good to go!

I am wondering how most detailers clean microfibers and wash mitts

No where near a detailer, but I use 3D towel kleen. 1oz for a light load and 2oz for a heavy load - followed by an extra rinse. The towels are then dried indoors on a stand as I do not have a dryer.

Another Dual action thread (help choosing)

You will not regret it! If no sale on the polisher itself, there are gift certificate sales which can be used towards a polisher. Polishers are rarely on "sale" , maybe you could get a kit or the pink one, which is cheaper :P

What are these tiny little specs? Prepping for a nice coat

Agreed. Especially since his paint was not worked on for 3 years or protected in any way. Being black is just the cherry on top lol.

+1 for the 3401. I have also considered the Rupes many a time. But it just never fit the bill as my go to polisher. I feel the Rupes always needs a buddy polisher to handle smaller tasks or curved panels. After a ton of research I settled on the 3401 and I am really happy I did. My reasons...

Detail spray after collonite 845 to remove fingerprints

+1 for D156 (Ultimate quik wax). Or Ultimate quik detailer which I think is the same as the detailer line M135.

What are these tiny little specs? Prepping for a nice coat

I noticed these on my brothers BMW as well. I think its the case with older cars that were not maintained since day one, pitting maybe? I never got an answer to what these were either. Here is a picture of my brothers car. I only worked on it 3 years after he got it. This picture was post...

what pad do i use to polish and wipe

+ 1 on Junkman. That's how I started. POXY* not Proxy first of all lol (one of my biggest pet peeves on here, its not that hard :P ) Poxy is said to last no more than 2-3 months from what people have described. Maybe get some Collinite 845 instead. I have a full bottle of 32oz POXY that's...

Which brand of Iron X to purchase - are they all very similar?

At least you guys have the choice of Iron removers. I would go for Mckees based on the reviews. Iron-X may be good but the smell seems to be a common complaint. As of today I only have one choice in Dubai, which is Chemical Guys Decon Pro Iron remover. There is zero information about it...
