New Jescar products! Medium polish and AIO!!!

So I got around finally to using the AIO last night. Test subject was a daily driven, not terribly well maintained black metallic 2015 Passat. Disclaimer, per usual I suck at taking the time to take pictures while I work. I started out with HD Speed but decided to give the Jescar AIO a shot. I...

Help - What am I doing wrong or is my product not good enough - Leather cleaning interior

Sonax leather foam is a top quality product, but I’m not certain where it falls in the ‘strength’ range. I forgot to mention gyeon leather cleaner as another great option. Sent from my iPhone using Autogeekonline mobile app

Stubborn water spotting with CSL...too late for exo or will it even help?

These did come out eventually with a gentle rub with some Megs #83 and a MF towel. Tried D107 at 10:1, 5:1 and even OPC at 2:1 with no joy. Something else I noticed was that it seemed like there were a pretty significant amount of bonded contaminants (touch test) on the CSL, which I was...

Stubborn water spotting with CSL...too late for exo or will it even help?

Any suggestion on the best route to go? Have things like D107, OPC, W6 available to me for that task, or could run a light polish over it. Once I'm sure C2v3 is gone (pretty easy to tell...slickness being the primary thing) no problem with applying exo about a month after applying CSL? I...

D181 and a horsehair brush or yellow leather scrubber is the way to go IMO.

Stubborn water spotting with CSL...too late for exo or will it even help?

So I got a call from my father in a minor panic over the jag. He’s taking it to have PPF done tomorrow at 9am and after rinsing it and wiping it down with ONR QD like I told him, he found a bunch of very stubborn, dark water spots. Aside from my instinct that he’s not 100% following my...

    Meg's D156 vs OCW...some general questions

I recently invested in a good bit of OCW after seeing the level of gloss and 'pop' factor it imparts. However, what I've found is that it's EXTREMELY attractive to dust and pollen. So much so that an unprotected vehicle had less dust/pollen on it than the vehicle with OCW. So I'm considering...

Looking for a reasonably priced foam cannon soap...

From what I understand it does not, due to its very high concentration. Sent from my iPhone using Autogeekonline mobile app

Looking for a reasonably priced foam cannon soap...

The wifey factor is quite easily taken care of by presenting a $1 per wash option as opposed to the $15-20 per wash swirl tunnel.

    Windshield question.

Nope, and you probably shouldn't attempt it at the risk of causing more damage. A machine polishing by a qualified, experienced individual might help some, but even that would be a slight risk.

Looking for a reasonably priced foam cannon soap...

remember the dilution you get with these soaps. Any soap should be sufficient with 2-4oz in a foam cannon, and another 2-4oz in a wash bucket. That gives you a range of 4 oz to 8 oz per car wash. At 4oz per, you get 32 car washes per gallon. At 8oz per, you get 16 car washes. So you're...

Review: BLACKFIRE One-Step Cleaner/Wax by Mike Phillips

Anyone? Hate to buy a 32oz bottle to find out it's no good in direct sun. And does anyone have any ideas about durability? I've seen 3-4 months in a couple places on the net.

    Which Compounding system?

which compound is less important, don't lose sight of the forest from the trees. any heavier cut commonly available compound (jescar, clear cut, 105 etc) will work. You need a more aggressive pad and/or machine, or you need to refine the sanding marks further.

    D107 Citrus APC+ release date?

Sorry, I disagree with this advice. 20:1 would render this product all but useless except for the lightest of cleaning needs except if used in an extractor solution, as designated by Meg's own directions on the label. It definitely has the properties of a degreaser and works quite well in...

    Which Compounding system?

no compound is going to completely take 2500 grit out with a foam pad on a PC. I'd recommend sanding to at least 3000 if not 5000, then if you're sticking with the 105/205 combo which there's nothing wrong with that, go for a Meg's microfiber cutting disc with the 105 to cut and then finish...

    D107 Citrus APC+ release date?

It's pretty well available elsewhere, surprised AG hasn't listed it yet. Gave it a chance to stretch its legs again this weekend, cleaning the engine on my 04 Grand Marquis. The car is outside 365 days a year even in winter storage. No serious detailing has been done on this car in probably...

Pad experiences....long throw DA (5" and 3") with wool vs microfiber

So, Rupes has released new coarse and medium wool pads for their DAs. LC has had some wool options for DAs for a while now as well, in the Blue and Purple foamed variety. What is the benefit behind the wool pads like Rupes vs your standard megs or LC microfiber? Do they cut better? Finish...
