Another mini-combo review....AR610 pressure washer & generic snub gun

Another double header this last saturday gave me a chance to stretch legs on a few things I'd been waiting to try. I also have a polishing pad question but I'll get the easy stuff out of the way first. First, the AR610 pressure washer. Hand-carry form factor, 1350psi and 1.9gpm. Lotta ass...

Need advice on what I have

You've got some decent products there, some things you won't need, some things that could be better, but probably enough to get you to around 70% corrected I'd guess depending upon the paint and other variables.

    Coating Recomendation

I have never actually used C9. However, based solely on the track record of everything CG makes except their soaps and maybe the Nonsense APC, I wouldn't even bother. Nevermind at a kit cost of $149.

    PFM question....

The only separating I do is for my downgraded towels that i use for exceptionally dirty/grimey jobs. I guess I could see wax/polish residue potentially making it into glass towels but the whole point of the detergent is to break that stuff down and pull it out of the towels, so it should get...

Your favorite product to use as presoak for rinseless wash?

Precisely why I bought it. Seems to be able to fill a number of roles for me, is no more costly than ONR, and doesn't leave anything behind on the surface. I actually bought it to dilute as detail spray for my father once I apply CSL to his F-type. He can use that for dust removal etc and...

Your favorite product to use as presoak for rinseless wash?

Seems like N914 at slightly stronger dilution is a stronger cleaner than ONR. I've had good results with ONR but am looking forward to a gallon of N914 showing up to try soon.

Possibility of a Swap Meet Forum or similar?

There is, but I don’t know if that necessarily covers something at this level. Sent from my iPhone using Autogeekonline mobile app

Griot's Garage Wash Mop Stick Kit

I bought a generic one at a local retailer that has a microfiber chenille head. To be honest, I find myself using it even on smaller vehicles because it saves me having to bend/kneel down to reach bottoms of fenders and bumpers and rockers.

Possibility of a Swap Meet Forum or similar?

I'm certainly well aware of the no selling rule, but as the majority of members here purchase their stuff from AG anyway, I wonder whether there's a possibility of having a swap meet type forum, similar to Autopia's. The main thing I'm thinking, if the general swap meet forum isn't possible...

    Reccomend me a metal polish

I use Mother's Chrome Polish right now but will be looking to use something else pretty soon. It works really well for the wheels and running boards on my Denali. I've heard good things about Zephyr, but haven't tried it myself. I'm going to be doing some deeper research into this as I'm...

    Desert detailing

holy smokes. I do not envy that environment at all. Winter and road salt are bad, but not THAT bad.

I've got overspray on a newly purchased car, claying/compounding/polishing is do little to nothing to remove it. What are my next options?

Maybe a light wetsand with 2500 or 3000 grit, but unless you're totally comfortable doing so I wouldn't recommend it.

Favorite carpet and upholstery cleaner/shampoo? Using Tornador...

No sir, I actually don't have any CG products in the arsenal anymore. I've got a 3/4 full bottle of blacklight that I likely won't ever touch again and 90% of a gallon of Nonsense that I should probably use up but it was in the garage all winter and may have frozen at some point so I don't know...

Favorite carpet and upholstery cleaner/shampoo? Using Tornador...

The one thing to be careful of is if you're trying to remove certain stains, using an alkaline APC can actually set the stain depending upon what it's made up of. Megs makes 2 stain remover/fiber rinse products. Tannin stain remover and protein stain remover. I also have been using a shampoo...

    D107 Citrus APC+ release date?

Reviving from 3 months ago, but I saw D107 available for pre-order and bought a kit. The estimated ship date I see is 4/17 (tuesday)

    Spray-in bedliner protection

Spray in liners IMO are a great use case for spray on rinse off SiO2. Hydro blue, wet coat, SS clutch etc. But, ultimately a cover is the way to go. Sent from my iPhone using Autogeekonline mobile app

What's your favorite waffle weave drying towel

Platinum pluffle 20x40. Not sold on AG but I don’t believe they have a competing product either. CG gray matters are ok but I haven’t looked back from the pluffle. Sent from my iPhone using Autogeekonline mobile app
