I use Makita cordless leaf blower. (corded is fine). Air dry at max speed quickly. Go around with a good towel. This works for me.

I noticed the factory calibration was off (by ~20 microns). Readings once calibrated seemed to be quite close between readings. You get average on the display for n readings. Great buy!
