Also, the oxidation is above the rub rails only, the hull itself is in great shape. Should I be waxing the hull as well? my guess would be yes. Im not afraid of killing the gel coat with my PC, I am afraid it is dead already.

How do I know if the gel coat is toast or just oxidized? I know I shouldn't say, but I have Adams polishes, will that do the job, or do I need a more aggressive polish? Ill be sealing it and coating with collinite fleet wax.

Zep purple works great for cleaning tires. Zep citrus I use in my wheel wells and under my hood. Has a minor gloss to it for a while too. Works great and can't beat the price.

Also interested in this as the wax I use (not sold by AG so it shall not be mentioned) attracts a lot of dust and pollen QUICK where I live, being really the only reason I need to wash. Something that will repel, or heck just something that won't make it cling, would be great.

I get Zep Purple from home depot - dilute in spray bottle use as APC I also get the Zep citrus cleaner - Dilute and use as under carriage cleaner Zep purple does a GREAT job of cleaning your tires, I used to use Adams APC until discovering this, does just as good, if not better of a job
