Anyon use Optimum cutting disc with D300?

The reason I went with Optimum was because of the separation problems that Meg had with their microfiber cutting discs. Also, since the Optimum discs had come out later, I assumed that they were a better, evolved beast. I will be testing them out next weekend. Anyone else have any experience...

Anyon use Optimum cutting disc with D300?

I suppose following it up with a white flat pad or tangerine Hydrotech pad would remove any hazing or possible marring. I just bought both products recently and wanted to try them on my silver GS400 Lexus, which has waterspots on the hood. I wasn't ure if this combo would be considered "unholy." ;)

Anyon use Optimum cutting disc with D300?

I am wondering if anyone has used the new Optimum microfiber cutting discs with Meguiar's D300? I would love to hear of your experience and what you thought of the combo.

    collinite 845 question

I use 845 over Duragloss and it looks great and lasts 6 months since I detail my vehicles twice a year. It looks great on my silver and dark blue vehicles.

Which sealant can take 110 degrees all summer?

I'm in Oklahoma. The sealant and wax were applied April and removed October for one vehicle and November for the other. My vehicles are garaged but they sit out all day at work. My car is silver but the van is very dark blue. I am pretty sure that almost any sealant would get the job done for you.

Which sealant can take 110 degrees all summer?

Well, we just had the hottest month on record in the US and Duragloss 501 topped with Collinite 845 went 6 months before I removed it. During that July, every day was over 100 degrees!

My GG 6" polish fried up!! :(

I believe a certain percentage are also made in China. If you've been here long enough all of the DA buffers have had issues. The Meg's cord issue got so bad that the rumors were that they had to halt production temporarily. Many here have posted of the cord issue. Just a couple of months...

I'm Going Back To Basics with an AIO

I'm into cleaner sealants and I really like Duragloss 501. This past fall I detailed my van and didn't use any polish nor compound, just 501, and it looks fantastic. I probably will be skipping the polish step on it from now on.

    Help with Collinite 476

There seems to be two school of thoughts. One tends to wax the entire vehicle and possibly wait a couple of minutes and remove the Collinite. The other school tends to remove it immediately, usually after applying it to one or two panels. Lots of confusion here.

Not much talk here about Zaino...what's up?

What do you mean that Zaino talked about much? There's a thread almost every day about Duragloss ;)

There are so many sealants and waxes I want and have tried. However

Agree 100%. The only negative is difficulty of removal. I like to use the AIO Duragloss 501 and follow it with 845. The combo easily lasts 6 months.

    Griot's Spray-On Car Wash

I use this product and love how it cleans and makes the metallic paint pop. However, it is pricey and I plan to try UWW this fall.

    What's your go to AIO?

I really like Duragloss 501 because it has both strong cleaners and nano-abrasives. The perfect AIO for me. Oh, it lasts a good 6 months too.
