    Tornador Foam Gun.....is it necessary...?

No it is not necessary, however I have one and use it mostly on interiors. I find that it is great for express interior shampooing. It basically replaces expensive aerosol products, the foam it produces allows for more dwell time on the surface. Also if you are detailing as a business customers...

    Tiger Stripes After Polishing?

Some cheaper pads clog up & the dried up polish/compound can cause swirls if you don't keep your pad clean enough. You may want to use multiple new pads and switch them as you go around the vehicle.

    Problem buffing a boat

I've had situations where the boat looks great when compounding & then terrible when you put wax on it. I've talked to several full time boat detailers that tell me they don't wax highly oxidized boats they only compound them. Although I don't know how a customer would feel about not protecting...

    Coating a Fully Wrapped Vehicle

I am having my detailing van wrapped & am wondering if I can apply a coating on the wrap itself? Are there specific coatings that are better to use on a wrap? Thanks for any feedback!

    Polishing a keg

Look up the Zephyr polishing system on Youtube. It may be a bit overkill for a keg but it is an amazing system.

    Detailing in winter

Here is a great bucket heater that I've been using for years. http://www.amazon.com/Allied-Precision-Premier-742G-Bucket/dp/B000BDB4UG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1416146447&sr=8-1&keywords=bucket+heater The only problem I've had is that sometimes it snaps the breaker.

    Car wash in the dark

Yah I've done a lot of washing in the dark. We have a Porsche show coming up starting at 6 pm, so here in Chicagoland it will be dark before we finish the final (12th) vehicle.

    Ardex products? Good or bad?

I used to use Ardex many years ago, I didn't really do any paint correction then. However the rest of their line of products is pretty standard for production type of detailing. These are the type of products that you will find at your average detail shop. I think for prep work they would be...

Should I had bought a Tornador instead of a Steamer for my mobile volume business?

I use the tornador as a pre-treat, I would follow with extraction by hot water. As far as tornador vs steamer. I use & recommend both for the professional detailer. I use them both on trashed vehicles, I use the tornador for heavily soiled areas. The steamer is great at amplifying just about...

How do you handle these types of people

I can't tell you how many times I get a similar situation. The funny thing is once in a while especially on specialty deodorizing projects the people will call me after the carwash they take it to makes the odor worse. Then I usually charge more than I initially quoted them.

Best way to get rid of these painted pinstripes

I used to use foaming oven cleaner, if its not cleared over. Just don't let it dry on & you may need to keep going over it. You'll notice that some colors will come off quick & some will take a lot more. You may need to wet sand & polish after you are done.

Shakey weak and fatigue in the middle of detail?

I've been taking a supplement from Youngevity called Beyond Tangy Tangerine 2.0 for about 2 years now & feel great & have not missed a day of detailing. It works great for me. Minerals, vitamins, amino acids. The minerals are no longer in our soils so IMO you need to supplement. Best wishes!

Laquer Thinner or some rubbing alcohol, just dab do not scrub & rinse it quickly. The medium nano skin seems to work great on almost anything as well.

For a gallon of gas....that's ridiculous!!!

It's not the price of gas that's going up. Its the value of the money that is going down. Inflation, thank the Federal Reserve.
