I have both and use both - the buff and shine for first cleaning wipe, the plush to buff. As previous poster said, it has long nap on both sides which allows for more cleaning sides. And having the shine n buff also allows it to double on rinseless washes.

+1 on P21s Gel. Like it a lot. Just bought the CG Diablo to try - it smells amazing but can't tell you if good.

Agree - never had issues and I don't even do a final buff, the revised GDWM. The cobra WW works great for it but I keep all products in the BF system (polish / Crystal seal / BFMS / poly spray).

Is not possible that it actually smells WORSE than regular iron-x? It's like walking into a bathroom after someone who just tried one of those spray fresheners over their work and it is just an awful mix. Thoughts?

It's not really lack of rain in SoCal as much as the lack of a snow pack in the mountains and less rain in the north and Central Valley. Most water is imported which is why runoff could help the issue
