I have discovered a way to reduce your polishing time by at least 50%. Please let me know if you are interested in increasing profits and truput and enhancing you consistent finish. Obviously not a Aiutogeek first step except it will use a 3M Sander as shown above. Hopefully I can help you...

I have a slightly different twist. The Trizact Saning Discs are normally used with a sander and not a Rupes 21 buffer. With the 3' buffers your fine as these typically are abou 3/16 orbit. I would encourage a sander with 5" or 6" Trizact with a 3/16orbit. And use a surge protector.

We use nothing but air tools but get the rupes small pads.

A large Detailer in my area swears by Perfect it 06064 and I've seen results myself. The black Truck ...Just outstanding so I've ordered some to try for myself. What I don't know is the sequence before nor the tool/pad the they use.

I have professional air tools that are not made by Rupes but that I have been using for years. These will not get hot at all. I have not had slinging problems using small pads, Rupes or others. If interested please do let me know.

I use Detail King Blue Diamond for my final polish with a Rupes polisher. On black cars especially. My sequence is as follows, Compound with 3M Perfect it 3000 with a ORANGE waffle pad. Medium speed with this step, about 4. 2 passes east west, north south. Then move up to Blue Diamond or 3M...
