I live in Michigan. I have to collect sales tax on any merchandise I would sell, but not on services (yet). You'll want to contact a CPA or at least familiarize yourself with your state's sales and use tax requirements. This information can usually be found on your State's official website.

Depends on where you live. Some states require sales tax collection on services, some do not.

From personal experience, watch plastic bumper covers when using the rotary. Some newer bumper covers and even trim pieces are not painted in the traditional method. They have a coating or film on them. Kind of like a vinyl wrap you'd see on a commercial vehicle.

I think that is just in case while applying the wax, if you accidentally induce scratches/swirls, it wouldn't be as obvious. Mike Phillips had a term for it ... straight line... something...
