I thought you just threw a junk pad on (maybe a discard microfiber one would have good friction to keep it from spinning?) and leaned on the machine (to keep if from polishing your carpets :laughing: ). Haven't tried it myself yet.

I've heard of folks just putting a DA with a junk pad on the carpet and running it to shake it, but hadn't heard of using a massage gun!
