Sealants usually don't take long to dry/cure; you should be fine. You may want to rinse the pollen off the paint though rather than letting it sit.

If you've compounded & polished it you don't need to use the white wax. I'd go with a sealant rather than the carnuba because of the durability. You can layer the carnuba on the sealant if you want but no need to. There are a lot of good sealants; I've used Prima Hydroseal & Jetseal 109 with...

Try one of those lint rollers, that'll take the lint & hair off, then proceed from there to clean the fabric.

That's what I did. Prepped the paint, blacklight then 109. Works well.
