    Just ordered my polishing pads!

So I bought a GG 6inch DA polisher last week and did some research on pads and such and I just bought a 5inch backing plate for the Lake Country 5.5inch pads I ordered 2 blue, 2 black, 2 white, 2 orange, and 1 yellow. Hopefully I will love these pads and can get some good correcting!

Polishing Pads For 2 Step Process

Do you use the red to apply your sealant or is this a 3 step process? I really am looking to keep it to 2 step because I think 2 step is actually plenty. I don't see a need for a super fine finishing polish if you use a glaze then good sealant.

Polishing Pads For 2 Step Process

I am currently going to use Meguiar's M105/M205 because this was pretty much the best 2 step process I have found and been recommended. I want to look at polishing pads that will remove slight swirls and some deeper then others and I am looking for a pad that will finish extremely well. I was...

Sealants / Best Protection For Daily Driven Black Car

So I am getting ready to choose the Sealant and protectant for my brand new Black VW GLI. I am currently looking between CG Jetseal and Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0. I want to have long lasting protection and have a deep shine for my black paint. I read that CG Jetseal doesn't last as...

    Meguiars products

These products confuse me slightly. I always thought of a glaze as a product for after the finishing polish but where would something like these be used and what's the difference from these and traditional glazes

    Best 2/3 Step Polishing Products

Okay so I am looking into some polishes and compounds and prefer something that is 2 step, I want something that will be completely ready for a sealant after the 2nd step. I looked at the Griots Boss product line, I like this but it looks like a lot of different options and I like simply. I am...

No. That's just a pick I found online. The ones I did were way less.

Marring or Holograms? What to do? How to prevent?

Okay so today I used my Griots Garage 6 inch DA Polisher for the first time with a microfiber correcting pad on my uncles black s500. I saw marks kind of like the ones on the picture I saw on Google. How can I avoid this and why do these happen? Are they marring or holograms and wants the...

Waterless Wash - What kind of MicroFiber?

I keep seeing all over that people like using waffle weave type towels for a waterless wash but I do not quite understand why. I currently use a Chinchilla MF Towel and I like it because it makes me feel like the dust goes deep into the nap. Wouldn't a waffle weave keep it closer to the surface...

Favorite color changing wheel cleaner when considering all aspects

If you don't let dust cake on your wheels then you can use any regular cleaner the color changing doesn't mean it's better. But I guess you can never use to much if you don't let it sit and cake on there Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
