Would you recommend using something from carpro like essence to polish before hand or will m205 be fine? also how is it with high spots. I have never applied a coating to paint and do not want to mess it up lol.

I am on the website and it says single or multi? do you know the difference. Also is there a big worry about high spots with this product?

So, I bough a Black Sapphire Metallic BMW and went home and did the normal prep. Clay, polish, sealant. When I washed the car the second time I noticed light marring. I am looking to now polish the car a second time this time with a more aggressive polish - M205 on Orange or White Lake Country...

This is very surprisig to me. I have sapphire black metallic 3 series and I just really marred the paint while washing even though I washed it properly. Not sure what I did but I am going to put a coating on it to help.

It's not holograms it's actually scratches from washing. The paint was washed after I detailed it once before.

Is it common to have super soft paint?

So I washed my car today. Two bucket method and all... And when I got done drying. Halograms... EVERYWHERE. I just got the car and polished it last weekend and it was looking fantastic. Now it looks absolutely horrific. What can I do to not only fix this but to make sure this does not happen again?!

So I was trying to lessen a scratch on my interior trim and removed some Black slightly it seems not much but enough that I notice. I tried putting some different interior coatings on and stuff and nothing seemed to help. Any ideas???

Can I go from 105-fg4000 or is that to big of a jump. I am wondering if not doing 205 in the middle would make a difference ?
