    Resist-All install?

So is this the new car smell people are smelling? I'm looking for a product that restores the new car smell. I tried Chemical Guys New Car Smell but it's not exactly what I'm looking for. Going to try their Stripper Scent next as that has a lot of positive reviews here.

    So... I'm finally an AUTOGEEK.......

Haha! Nothing is wrong with you. Well I haven't examined you or taken your medical history but based on just this nothing is wrong. You likely saw that at some point before and forgot about it. Your subconscious mind accessed the old memory and formed a dream with said memory.

    AG: ANYTHING but peanuts! Please...

This is why I have a spray bottle with WGRTDEKS (Wolfgang Repel Those Damnable Electrons Kind Sir) detailing spray. What? Don't pretend like you didn't know that acronym! No seriously I have 91% isopropyl alcohol that magically kicks electron ass. Actually you can just use plain water too. I...

    behind door handle !

I doubt any DA polishing machine will get in there, so machine polishing that is out. Unless you can easily remove the door handle, which is doubtful. You've got to take one of those handheld foam pads, put some scratch removing compound or cutting polish on it and rub rub rub those scratches...

What type of camera are you using to document your work?

I have a Canon 350D. It was great when I bought it new years ago. Now, it's still great. It doesn't take video but great still pics at 8MP. Being a DSLR it's about as good as the glass you put in front of it. Whichever camera you get, make sure it can take very sharp pictures because you're...

    cobra guzzler

I'm just a noob still learning on here and this is the first I've heard of rinsing with vinegar. I'd be afraid to use any acid on paint. But I guess if it's diluted enough it's ok?

Starting a part time production detailing business

Just to add to that: If you're like me you love what you do and you love the cars you're working on. You treat them as if they were you're own. Some people out there just do it for the money and see every car as just another car and every customer as just someone to scam out of their money...

Starting a part time production detailing business

Check out some of the detail shops around you. Check out their prices and then check out the quality of their work. There was a poster on here that did that and noticed this "pro detail shop" used dirty terry cloth towels to wash and an old dirty rotary buffer to instill some new holograms and...

And so it begins....My first customer

It doesn't really matter what I suggest. I'm not a professional detailer with decades of experience running a profitable business. And you already heard from them. But you asked so I'll answer. I suggest learning from and emulating those that are profitable now. One thing they mentioned which...

    Horrible experience with SEARS

Sears used to be my favorite place to go with my dad when I was a kid. I was like a kid in a candy store, well more like a kid in a Craftsman store which was even better. They had all the cool tools and I just wanted to try out all of them! It was a father son moment you look back on fondly...

Black 2008 Z06 correction detail by Immaculate Reflections

I know right? But if he gets black it will need to be repainted every 3 months. He will strip all the paint off polishing it every 3 days. Either that or it will be a garage queen for fear of marring perfection.
