I personally use Blackfire interior protectant. It doesn't leave a shiny interior at all. Darkens the panels up and I feel it last a considerable amount of time. I personally don't like shiny interiors at all, and this fit the bill when it came to finish and durability.

I usually use either m205 or fg400 for a one-step and is entirely dependent on the condition. I follow it up with a sealant or wax. However I also use an AIO for people on a budget and in that case Ill use Meg's D151

I used Bfwd on my silver wrx wagon and it my opinion it made it very glossy. It's coated now with gloss coat now. Gloss coat made a bit glossier but not by much. I suggest giving Blackfire wet diamond a try.

Blackfire: wetdiamond, midnight sun, midnight sun carnauba spray wax, blackice, pinnacle souveran, pinnacle signature II, Wolfgang fusion, wgdgps, wg spritz sealant, chemical guys jet seal, 50/50, Griots garage poly wax. I just ran out of crystal seal and these are just the ones I can think of...

I use shine n buff waterless wash towels for rindless. Super fluffy side on both sides. So yeah I definitely use all 8 sides

There's couple of threads describing your problem. I had the same issues with crystal coat. I've been trying to figure it out on small parts but I still get the same results.
