the GTR is just a few months old. she was brought in to clean up some dry wax left by the dealership & to apply a fresh coat of wax for the winter. there are very little swirls on the car so i suggested to hold off on any polishing for now. these cars are known to have a clear coat that is soft...

after HD Polish i wasnt happy with the finish it left. the color was a bit cloudy & would need another polishing step to bring the black back to its full potential. i thought, if i needed Menzerna SF4500 to clean that up, maybe i can get away with a 2 step on the rest of the car? i dont see why...

i was lucky to find these hard water stains all over the car from the customers house sprinklers. they werent mentioned to me until my eyes saw them. i do not like surprises at all but oh well. she had a full respray about a year ago in a mercedes black. no pearl or flake, straight up black...

About 3 months ago my customer took his 2013 BMW X3 home from the dealership. They gave it a sloppy wax job. All around the car, the textured black plastic trim had dried up wax. It was even around the mirrors & I cought a big piece on the sunroof rubber seals as well...
