Mothers Giveaway - $100 Mothers Shopping Spree!

Here is my cart; nice and simple. I have recently used and posted a review of the Mother's Back to Black Tire Renew and that is amazing. Any and every rinselss/waterless wash fan should have a few of those bottle around for tire cleaning. No need to worry about APC's needed copious amounts of...

Review: Mother's Back to Black Tire Renew

Thanks for the link! I'm glad to see people are enjoying this product since it does rock! My question is if this product leaves anything behind on the tire but if it's a heavy duty cleaner, I'm sure it wouldn't leave anything behind. But that's just my assumption.

Review: Mother's Back to Black Tire Renew

Hello all, This is not going to be a full on review like some of the other users on this forum but I wanted to share my thoughts and observations on this product: Mothers Back to Black Tire Renew, tire cleaner First off, I am a big fan of waterless/rinseless washes with a slight favor...

Are Pinnacle products worth the $$$?

My favorite Pinnacle product right now is their Spray Wax. I use it in conjunction with the Pinnacle Rinse-less wash and after I clean a panel and before I dry it, I will spray down a fine mist of their carnuba spray wax and it makes drying not only easier, but puts down a little layer of...

Your top 10 must have detailing products*

If you had nothing and needed to start for scratch, here are my top 10 recommendations. I'm sure you will get a very large variety so I am by no means saying my list is the best list. 1. Two Buckets + Grit Guards 2a. Quality car soap (Optimum Car Wash, Meguiar's Shampoo+, etc) 2b. Quality...

    Meguiar's D114 Express wash

Great guide! I am looking into purchasing either d114 or d115. Just haven't decided.

Review & How-To: Meguiar's D115 Rinsefree Express Wash and Wax

Great review! I can't wait to finish my current stock of Pinnacle Waterless and Pinnacle Rinseless washes and give this and D114 a try! I like the idea that the wax in D115 is the same as D156, that way, I'm just adding layers of protections instead of adding differing levels of protection...

    Challenges When Starting Out

A dream job would be for me to run a detailing shop that does cars of all kinds, not just high end. But like everything else, it's about location, location, location.

That pinnacle spray wax will be awesome on your black paint!

Is pre soaking ONR really necessary???

I do it since it makes the towel "feel" smoother as I wipe it across the paint. Without presoaking, the towel feels like it's dragging across instead of gliding.

Which is your main "go-to" AIO (All In One)?

I really like Klasse AIO. I dampen a microfiber applicator pad and it's a breeze to apply to almost any paint.

Any great performing leather conditioners that atcually smell good?

Great information everyone. I've been using (and almost finished) my bottle of Auto Finesse Hide Cleaner and Conditioner. The cleaning ability works great but the smell of the conditioner isn't that great. It smells very "chemically". Can't wait to try out another leather...

New to the forum...Just bought a car...where to begin?

Any of the kits that autogeek sells would be an easy choice. I would recommend any of their house brands (Pinnacle, DP, Wolfgang, or BlackFire) but there are MANY good products here on autogeek. A kit takes most of guessing work out picking products and they come in smaller sizes so if you...

    Waterless wash

Thanks for the info! I guess all (except Meg's) waterless/rinseless washes leaves something behind whether it be gloss, protection, etc. My hope would be to use a waterless/rinseless wash when I dive into the coating's world, aka Car Pro's CQuartz or Pinnacle Black Label.
