    foam gun nozzle?

You might not need the designated gilmore part. I have a store bought metal nozzle with threads on the end. The middle junction adaptor that screws onto the red gilmore nozzle may work with any threaded hose nozzle. Bring that part to a garden center and see if it screws onto a stocked...

Need a Cost-Effective Dashboard and Tire Protectant

303 good stuff. I always keep a bottle of that, quick detailer, invisible glass and some MF towels in the trunk. That way, I have something to do when I wait for my wife after I drop her off to "quickly" return something. Enjoy, elliot

Pinnacle BL Shampoo in a Foam Gun?

I use Maxi Sudz ll in the gun and Pinnacle shampoo in the bucket. A cap full of each in their respective containers per wash session works for me. Enough for both cars if I have the energy. Enjoy, elliot

Perfectionist Detailing #2 - Sanding right up to an edge

Oh Michael, I know THAT feeling. I used to restore art in my gallery years ago. I recall a couple of times when cleaning an oil painting, the sudden sinking sight of revealing canvas during the process. Granted, it's probably a heck of a easier fixing one's over zealousness upon an oil...

No evidence of waxes or sealants adhering after a few weeks

Bite your tongue, ClayR. Never been through an auto wash since I felt the consequences 4 years ago. I use Maxi Sudz in the foam gun and Pinnacle shampoo in the bucket applied with 4/0 steel wool pads. Only a capful of product in each, after which, I blow dry the car. So I try to keep the...

Please help! Meguiar's Gold Class Rich Leather cleaner-conditioner ruined brand new seats !

Another inexpensive over the counter leather product that I have had success with is the Xymol line of conditioner (Z509) and cleaner (Z507) for coated leather. They make products for coated and raw leather so be careful when purchasing. Reviews can be read on amazon for other opinions.

No evidence of waxes or sealants adhering after a few weeks

dpk20x and FUNX725, I agree with you wholeheartedly that the protection life of these products are limited and that occasional resurfacing is needed. EXCEPT the products on my other vehicle, which gets the same treatment, last several weeks longer. They're both in headlight contact with each...

No evidence of waxes or sealants adhering after a few weeks

I have had this issue pretty much from the purchase of my car. It's an '08 Accord. When purchased they offered me a exterior treatment stating that I wouldn't have to wax the car for years. OK....Didn't wax it for the majority of a year and ended up with bird droppings etching into the surface...

Please help! Meguiar's Gold Class Rich Leather cleaner-conditioner ruined brand new seats !

As Michael and others have mentioned above, it probably is only a film left on the "surface coating" of the leather. The material itself should be fine, especially if it didn't darken as you applied it. Pictures would definitely help. It's just a question of removing the surface remnant...

Who's manufacturing the products we use?

Quick question for ya Miguel, There are so many products out there, especially with waxes. I've been a Pinnacle person ever since I was introduced to the line and I have no urge to seek any others. I'm just curious how many companies are actually independent self-contained manufactures. Like...
