I have both Leatherique and WG. WG is a quality product that would be your best bet for ease of application. Leathererique, on the other hand, requires it to sit in a hot car for 1-2 days, which would be hard to do on a recliner.
Ever since I saw the worlds most expensive car detail I have wanted to try it, but have yet to do so. I would think you would use less product since your hands are not very absorbent.
Get a used one. Even if it is repaired you will still see where it was. Almost all plastic interior parts have some type of texture, which is the hard part to match.

I bought some never dull recently and it does not seem to work as well as I remember it working.
I am polishing some HEAVILY oxidized aluminum wheels which also have some pitting. I have spent almost 2 hours on one wheel using Mothers wheel polish and power balls(3) before I was, almost...
I have only used one metal polish, Mothers, because it works and is readily available.
I have been looking at WG polish with interest. Mostly because it offers a compound and fine polish. I have also been looking at Optimum.
My question is: What is your go to metal polish?

The boat can be made to look new again. You just need heavy wool pads, heavy cut compound(I used 3m and it worked well). Boats use a gel coats that are a lot harder then car paint to scratch.
Big wool pads and heavy compound are the only hope for that heavily oxidized paint. The compound itself...
The paint looks to be on thick and maybe house paint at that.
Maybe tape off area and use a small sponge soaked with paint thinner, gently along area, and see if any paint shows on the sponge after a few passes. That is just a guess as to what might work tho. Good Luck
