School me on using a windshield treatment like aquapel, and longevity of wiper blades

wipe it down and walk away, well you probably want to give the blade a good cleaning first. But the 303 is simply wiped on, no soaking involved.

School me on using a windshield treatment like aquapel, and longevity of wiper blades

I agree with Rick in Texas...Aerospace 303 on your blades would be wise. I use it on plastic parts and decals on our RV, great product!

School me on using a windshield treatment like aquapel, and longevity of wiper blades

I tend to agree with you. The UV rays from the sun in your climate will still do harm to the blades. Where I live it rains or snows often, so wipers get a lot of use, and get changed at least annually, sometimes after 7-8 mths. Not so sure in the desert, where rain is not frequent that Aquapel...

    T’is the Season...

Those that do it wouldn't know or see a swirl if it was staring them in the eye! They don't give a rip! Those that care just a bit, will drive it through the swirl-o-matic car wash to clean off any pine needles left behind! LOL!

    My white pad turned black!

Is it the McKee's Spray that you use?

    My white pad turned black!

Yes.....I also had some Snappy, seemed to be exact same as McKee's powder and just as ineffective.

    My white pad turned black!

While there seems to be a lot of love for the McKee's Pad Cleaner, it simply hasn't worked very well for me when trying to clean pads used with AIO's. I have the powder version of McKee's, perhaps their spray Pad Cleaner is better, I can't speak to that. My powdered McKee's now just sits on the...

Collinate 845..I had to do it

Also would it not be the Liquid Souveran wax that would be more like 845, and not the Spray Wax? I envisioned the Spray Wax as being a topper after a wash, a complement to the Liquid Souveran.

Collinate 845..I had to do it

Sorry...I should have been more specific...when I was looking for a comparison between Collinite and Souveran and mentioned double the price I was referring to the Liquid Souveran and not the paste

Collinate 845..I had to do it

Can anyone give a comparison of 845 to say Pinnacle Souveran, as far as gloss, the wet look appearance, durability... I know the Collinite will be half the price!! My only experience with Collinite is with 925 fiberglass wax that I use on our RV, and on that it is outstanding for durability and...

Blackfire One Step and Hybrid Wax or Pinnacle Polish and Liquid Souveran

We just purchased a new Nissan Murano and looking to protect it. Planning to do the whole decon, clay and wax process. Contemplating using Blackfire One Step followed by Blackfire Black Ice Hybrid Wax based on the numerous positive results from the forum here. My other choice and this is...

    Review: BLACKFIRE Metal Sealant

Gotcha! Thanks for clearing that up! I am sure that Super Duty grill is much like the rest of them.

    Review: BLACKFIRE Metal Sealant

I imagine many of the grilles and "chrome" trim are not actual metal. On my Chevy grille it's quite light and plastic with a chrome finish on it. 1 stone chip will quickly reveal that is indeed plastic. But as you mentioned on the Ford logo, being plastic, it appears that this sealant is also...

When to stop buffing - Or - How far should you go to remove swirls and scratches?

This article is a great perspective for a relative newbie like myself. We (newbies) can get overwhelmed with all the options for product, all the opinions we hear and read, and need to sometimes reel it back to the KISS principle. Thanks for writing it Mike.

Dealers “man with a towel” got me!

So Liquid Souveran topped over the Blackfire One Step....good combo?

Pinnacle Liquid Souveran Wax, holy cow it’s good!

So you'll top the BF Onestep with the Liquid Souveran? Just curious why you wouldn't redo the Advanced Finishing Polish then the Liquid Souveran as you did last time? Is it because you won't get enough cut from the Advanced to get rid of the dealer induced swirls?

Dealers “man with a towel” got me!

Holy crap...they ruined it! Is that the same car you posted pics of in another post where you first tried the Liquid Souveran?
