It was mentioned that Rupes Diamond polish was applied to the whole car. On the AG site it's mentioned that the Diamond polish was designed to use with the Rupes DA and Rupes white pad....Is this simply promoting their own products? Can one expect same results using Diamond polish with say a GG...

Is there much difference between the Pinnacle Liquid Crystal Mist and the Pinnacle Souveran Spray wax? In reading I see the Crystal Mist is sold as a QD, but both have wax in them. They are both pricey, and wondering which one to get.

Do you top the HD Speed with anything?

Interesting read.....I have used RainX for several years with no issues at all. Mine is a yellow liquid though and not orange, still good for -35 or -40. Now I don't own a European vehicle as stated in that article, don't imagine that makes a difference.

I have seen the Mothers Back to Black Bumper Care available locally but not the Back to Black Heavy Duty Trim Cleaner....not the same product. You want the Heavy Duty Trim Cleaner.

I will second this one...has worked very well for me, and the brush that comes with is decent as well. I have then applied McKee's Plastic trim restorer afterwards and it has worked well.

Scott...is the McKee's Paint Coating as easy to work with as they claim, simply spray, wipe, and buff....after of course applying the paint coating prep.

Given that it's a 32 oz bottle though, it really isn't that much more than say McKee's 360.

Although Briarpatch's response says he hasn't had issues, my experience is total opposite. 360 touches trim and it's stained, and can be a bear to get out.

I have done the same with the same product after getting them very clean with APC. No slippery effect, but I think the trick is in wiping off the excess as the OP mentioned. Mine were Husky Liners as well. Did the same with the wife's Weather Tech's and achieved same result.

Wow...nice results. I am also inclined to give HD Speed a shot. Have been using McKee's 360 and have been pretty happy with it, but want to compare it to HD Speed. How was it to clean your pads after using HD Speed. I find with the McKee's, the pads can be a bit of a chore to get clean.
