    Chemical Guys Stripper Scent

I sprayed some of this stuff at the chem. guys factory store, and I didn't like it very much. To me, it smelled like day old cheap cologne.

Menzerna Paint Refresh VS Pinnacle Crystal Mist...

Crystal Mist has always been too streaky for me. Agreed with the above, V7 is really good. That being said, I still like the pop megs ultimate quick detailer gives.

    Best paste wax under $40?

Price/Performance/Looks wise, and ease of application, I have to say it's 50/50 from chemical guys.

CG EZ Creme GLaze and CG Glossworkz

I work about 10 minutes away from the Chemical Guys in Inglewood CA, couldn't resist but going up there and buying a bottle of this stuff during my lunch break.

    Surf City Garage (rant)

That's what Amazon wishlists are for, being very picky means you got give people a list when they're trying to buy you gifts.

Does Chemical guys have a forum ?

From what I can tell, no. They have so many products it seems like starting a forum devoted to their products would be a good idea though. To get real info on their stuff, I have to search google and hope there's a thread on the particular product I'm inquiring about.

Claying Lubricant or Soapy water ???

Another vote for ONR, it's good enough that you know it works, and cheap enough that you don't have to keep buying bottles of dedicated QD lube. Also, at clay lube strength it does leave the car very shiny. :xyxthumbs:

Maximum Gloss which prod/what I've tried.

I think I'm going to try Blacklight with the v7 combo.

Maximum Gloss which prod/what I've tried.

Are there other abrasive-less polishes, and isn't show car glaze a "pure" polish?

Maximum Gloss which prod/what I've tried.

Aren't polishes abrasive? Right now my car has no visible defects, I wash every week.

Maximum Gloss which prod/what I've tried.

I recently bought a car, not the best car, but MY car, and when I got it from the dealer, it wasn't just shiny, it was RADIANT. I would like that radiant-ness back. Now being that I'm on these forums plenty, I know the steps to a nice wax, and QD. In fact, just last week I foamed, then two...

Do UV blocking products condone mold growth?

OR maybe the products aren't blocking as much UV light as we think?

Do UV blocking products condone mold growth?

Just a simple question, I see all these products that are supposed to block UV light, waxes, QD sprays, headlight protectors. However isn't it true that if we use all these products, and if we are to assume that they are indeed blocking large amounts of UV light, doesn't this mean that we're...

    Meguiars Ultimate Wash & Wax

I also like UWWA but I can't get around the price. As a quick detailer it may last longer, but I can't see it replacing anything in my arsenal until they offer a larger, less expensive version. Oh yeah, and the smell is a tad too pungent for my tastes, but then again, I'm not sniffing my car...

2012 Car, should I avoid DA polisher?

Thanks for all the advice, I was leaning towards the porter, but ended up getting the Meguiars g110v2 I called a detail supply near me, and they're giving me a deal, cheaper than Amazon! I'm well aware of the QC issues with the unit, but cost is a big factor for me right now. I can't wait to...

Sick, Tired, and Sore - what is your product of choice?!?!?!?

I'm no marathoner, but I seem to stay slim by drinking plenty of green tea and only eating self prepared meals on the weekdays. Keep up my energy by taking mens one a day energy vitamin.

2012 Car, should I avoid DA polisher?

Thinking of going with the Porter Cable 7424XP Dual Action Polisher. Decent price, and you guys seem to be fond of it. Also my family members have been asking for me to do their cars, so I think I'll have an easier time saying yes when I can wax more effeciently with a DA. Thanks for all your...
