Had the bearings checked out and they're a'okay...most likely the tires...will either go for all seasons or winter tires and see if the noise goes away. When I get tires put on I will also make sure to do alignment which could also potentially help.

Awesome job! I purchased a used '98 bmw 323is in bmw "schwarz" black recently. It was covered in dirt, contaminants etc. After a wash and clay, the paint was TRASHED...and I mean worse than this... looks like someone took a tree branch or brillo pad to some spots...especially on the sunroof...

UPDATE for anyone who cares. Well, it's a few months later and I have in fact had to do some repairs but I'm absolutely loving the car! As far as detailing goes I did a complete interior detail, washed, clayed, polished with ssr3 (someone mustve taken a brillo pad to this car, thats literally...

update: had someone get in the car and depress brake while in reverse...the screachy noise *seems* to be coming from the center of the engine under the engine cover and is cyclical sounding...like a belt of some sort.
