Wheel Coatings (mine is Pinnacle Black Diamond) - Will an Iron Remover wheel cleaner damage the coating?

So I coated my wheels with Pinnacle Black Diamond wheel coating some months back and finally put on my 'summer' wheels. Well after driving on them for about 2-3 weeks, I have a good amount of brake dust and iron (damn Audis). Will I degrade the coating if I use my go-to for this car, Griots...

Just picked up a sweet Stressless recliner with some miles on her. How do I take care of Aniline Leather?

Thanks, Bob! Did some researching, and it seems Stressless even reccomends Leather masters for their recliners! Winner! :) Thanks everyone for your input.

Just picked up a sweet Stressless recliner with some miles on her. How do I take care of Aniline Leather?

Thanks, Mike. Yea--I saw they sell their own cleaning products, but being a cheap skate wanted to see if I could get away with just using the stuff I have on hand haha. Also was curious to learn more from ya'll on here about Aniline leather and if anyone had tips or tricks for care.

Just picked up a sweet Stressless recliner with some miles on her. How do I take care of Aniline Leather?

Hi Guys, So I picked up a sweet Stressless recliner via craigslist for a good price. It has some age on it, but it looks really good with the 'age' haha if that makes sense. So I am pretty sure it's aniline leather, because water gets absorbed in the leather. So there doesn't appear to be a...

    1991 British Racing Green Miata

Nice work! That color combo is amazing! Maybe its the newb in me, but when people apply a wax some days after an inital sealant coat, are they washing the car again before applying the wax (because of potential dust)?

What compound do you use on Hard audi paint?

Menzerna FG400 didn't do enough for me on my 2010 Audi S4 with phantom black paint. Hard as a rock!! It took Sonax Max Cut (which may I add worked like a dream!) to get in there deep. Used Megs MF pads too.

    RUPES Mille Review by 2black1s

This is awesome! In the process of building a home with my fiance (soon to be wife in June). Will def take this idea to the father in law who is quite handy with wood crafts. This would be perfect for my soon to be detailing garage.... :)

    Glass Polishing -- Need help/recommendation!

Jeeeeez. Had no idea how long that takes per quadrant (Mikes video). Was going to take out some razor blade scratches on the back windshield of the Fiance's Volvo with my DA (I would imagine it would take twice as long!)....but after watching that video I may just find a pro and pay them to do...

Had some problems when practicing last night

I dont think the plate would be ruined, just the velcro backing on the pad. Hopefully it was just oversaturation on the pad though!

    Advice on drying towels needed!

Can back up the PFM claim. Bought the XL edgeless version for 27 bucks (steal of a deal) cause it was a 'returned' 2nd life item from the big online store that starts with an A. I've used the Cobra waffle weaves which were good. This totally changed the game for me. It's amazing how much and...

Had some problems when practicing last night

Sounds like you may have let the pad get too hot and then potentially melted the velcro on the pad. Happened to a lot in the beginning cause I didn't switch pads often enough. When you tried putting that pad back on the machine, did you notice the 'velcro' not stick as strong as before? If...

portable washing machine for Micro fiber

Nice! This is something I will have to look into in the future. Buying a new house with the fiance, and she has already told me I won't be using the new appliances for my pads/towels haha.

    Best APC comparison

What dilution do you use to clean bugs off paint? From the strength of this stuff how you make it sound, my fear is marring.

2007 Mustang GT - Black Paint Help Needed

Sorry to nitpick, but not that the towels aren't quality--more so that they 'blend' of synthetic, if soft paint (or so I've heard), can cause scratching. If you're using an 80/20 blend, that is more for harder clears. Where as 70/30 I hear is the ticket to use for softer clears to help with not...

2007 Mustang GT - Black Paint Help Needed

It sounds like your paint is super duper soft. Since your paint is so soft, an IPA wipe down (I am assuming 50/50 with water mix) may be marring the paint. Hell--have you also looked at using different towels with less 'bite'? I've read some detailers use different blend of MF towel for...

Milky staining on rims?? How bad is this?

These are OEM wheels. Thanks. That's what it may look like at this point. Ironically, I did do just that....MF towel on my finger with the sonax max cut...did NOTHING. :( Going to try the power cone or potentially even do a light wet sanding to see if it does anything....but looks like I may...

Milky staining on rims?? How bad is this?

Thank for that. Yea--the stains don't feel rough. Clear is still there. It's just damn hard lol. May even try wet sanding. We'll see. Powerball first with Sonax Max cut.
