    Advanced Detailing: 70 Chevelle Pro-Touring

I suck with the whole photo portion of the industry, so I'm not one to point fingers, only reason I knew what size to resize mine to was Todd telling me.

    Advanced Detailing: 70 Chevelle Pro-Touring

They resized on my computer too so really no biggie but when I opened it the hood was on my tv and the trunk was on my ipod.

:urtheman: Wow, some of those flame pics are unreal! Almost translucent, with very sharp reflections behind them, that kicks ass, nice work.:dblthumb2:

2006 Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT in Nero Carbonio Metallic

Prior to sanding discs like the new meguiars ones, and trizact, I don't think dry sanding was much an option. With traditional papers, I have never dry sanded.

    New client car movie gallery.

Looks pretty good, should appeal to a large client base, should serve you well.

    recommendations to get started detailing

That's fine I suppose, I would recommend more Meguiars products though, the detailer line is a great value. Their polishes are impeccable, waxes and sealants all easy to use, matter of fact, all their products are very user friendly, and after 7 years, I have gone back to using many Megs...

Who said you need a fancy smancy polisher to do paint correction?

Absolutely! Lots of determination coupled with a quality pad and polish.

2006 Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT in Nero Carbonio Metallic

Just less mess pretty much, easier to control the amount of shedding. But not too terribly different.

When I said lube, I meant the oils found in polishes anyhow, that's where you got confused.

No, I sanded moist, trizact papers which you actually can sand dry with the same results.

Who said you need a fancy smancy polisher to do paint correction?

Technically if you can correct a square inch you can duplicate it over the entire car, but that's not the best way to spend your month:props:

Well, you're pretty much using liquid sand paper and a da or rotary every time you polish, just no lube with the sanding paper.

That's a tremendous write up yourself Mike. I envy your #7 collection. I only have the bottle on the far right (the newest edition) and have gone through a few bottles of it in the past few years. I have never used it the way you did in the write up, I get around black (or black metallic) where...

2006 Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT in Nero Carbonio Metallic

Thanks Mike, and it is a hassle, I have more respect for the guys that put together incredible photo's and write ups than I used to. It drains you, I have hundreds of photo's but narrowing them down to get the point across is tough to do. #7 was used on all painted surfaces, I love the stuff...

Megs... 6,7,16,105,205,scratch x on tight areas in the door jambs. Hyper dressing, gummi fledge, leatherique, power clean, z10, zaio, for the most part, that's what I remember, I was trying to make it an all Megs detail, which I just about did, and there were many other products used, I'll just...
