That particular sponge has now been through 8 washes, and pretty extensively used per session. It is not as firm as it was to start, but still in suitable condition for washing. Not one piece of foam has ripped or separated off mine yet.

No not really, it's in direct competition with pretty much every menzerna final polish, most likely taking on 85u 85rd and 106ff. I believe the good Dr. used those polishes as a platform to improve upon. He made no mention of 205 to me, as the abrasives aren't similar at all.

Hello Mark, and welcome to Autogeek. They have plenty of quality products to choose from that cover a wide array of skill level as well as a good group of people here to help. After compounding I don't see much of a need for washing the vehicle. You can wait till you are entirely done polishing...

With ONR? The answer would be sometimes, after polishing I have used microfiber and ONR, I don't see much difference in doing so than QDing, only the cleaning abilities vary.

I'm quite confident the only ill effect from using more than directed is wasted product, by no means can I see added lubrication creating a problem for particle removal.

It has pores, and nap, it's the only sponge I would use with ONR, not that I ordinarily do use a sponge.

It's all personal opinion, I have seen it look tremendous on a few dark colors, and have seen it mute black paints to a point. You really dont need to be leaving it on over night before you buff it off, "cured time" means how long it's been since you buffd it off. I would allow to sit and haze...

I use it as recommended because the good Dr. has spent much more time with that product than I have, and it's been in my supplies for three years now.

I have yet to try Fuzion as well, but have heard good things from a few guys I speak to often. If they come out with a sample size I'll pick one up, I have way too many waxes to buy another jar right now.
