I have alot of paints & polishes in a 50gal plastic tool box. I bought a 12v heater from HF 12V Heater w/ Fan to help warm stuff up when I forget to bring it in. I can just put it in the box to help warm things up. Haven't had to use it yet so we'll see. Obviously this won't work w/ full mobile...

Both actually. Did 3-4 passes w/ each. Used medium to light pressure w/ cut & light pressure to machine weight w/ finish.

This is a '97 Ferrari Spyder 845 w/ single stage paint. Has some oxidation / hazing down the left side. The owner asked me to see if I could buff it out. (He said someone tried applying some wax by hand to remove it but the haze came back the next day.) I was working on another car at the time...

I tried them once. Didn't care for them. I prefer the shop towels. Walking away & letting the spar do it's thing is probably the hardest part for me.

Nice work. You may disappointed with some of the marks that are still showing but you did a much better job than the "professional" you had work on the car.

I do the same thing when whatever polish, compound, etc I'm using gets almost empty & I'm not going to refill. Pour into a 3M qt size & use it on headlights. I don't think that container has ever been empty. Although I didn't put the skull & crossbones on. :cool:

According to Meguiars "Applying this product every time you wax your car, ensures that you’re headlights look new and bright for a longer period of time." More of a maintenance thing to be applied whenever you wax you car. This is the stuff that comes with their heavy duty restoration kit.

Used GG 3" DA. Yeah pretty close to it. Interesting. I'll keep that in mind next time. Thought I was just getting old. I just hope you meant .8 not .08. :)

Sorry about that. I used CG's medium compound to polish b/c that's what I have. Megs 105/205 or similar works too. For the coating (UV sealer) I used spar urethane & mineral spirits mixed 50/50. I also wipe the lens w/ IPA after polishing & before applying the sealer. These took close to an...
