I also like the scoops that come in coffee, dishwashing detergent, protein powders & the like. For mixing stuff like headlight sealer I'll use the 6oz plastic cups yogurt comes in.

Definitely a good idea & I do it but not all the time. No particular reason. Will be doing it from now on though.

Funny you bring this up. I was just thinking the next time I'm in Lowes or HD to pick up some masks. Mainly for use when sanding headlights. When I see the dust I know I'm breathing some of that in, no matter how much I try not to, and I think "this can't be good for me".

Look good & I feel your pain. While I didn't spend 3 hrs on them, I did spend just over an hour on some Volvo lights yesterday. Think I will try the FCD pad method as well.

Did a few headlights & actually remembered to take some pics, after I'd already started of course. First was a Suzuki Grand Vitara. I used 500/800/1500/3000 grit. (Probably more than was needed) Then polish/IPA/seal. Right B4 - Not horrible but noticeable Right After Left after 500g (Forgot...

Look good. The worse the lights look, the more aggressive I start. Always from most aggressive to least, which is the way you did it. After doing a few you'll develop an eye for it & find your 'standard' procedure you like to use.

Use it all the time. Works fine. I got the DP on BOGO so I'll be trying that next.

Does the OC leave lines like the urethane tends to do or is it a smooth finish?

I use mine for headlights all the time without any problem.
