Good mechanic - NOT very good with detailing

I had to chuckle a bit after watching and reading the comment. In all honestly though, as far as "detailing" goes, I was once told a little bit of common sense goes a long way. Great guy with a ton of knowledge I'm sure. Old school is probably the better term.... But c'mon A family friend of...

    SunJoe SPX3000 longer hose?

I can't seem to find a "garden" hose that I use for washing that doesn't kink. Been through a few already specifically branded with "no kink". Frustrating to say the least.

    Need Pads for Rupes Duetto?

I always used LC CCS pads. I was looking into buying the Bigfoot but they seem to advertise the use of Rupes pads only due to throw size. Sales gimmick or my CCS pads will be just fine to use...? I do like the German engineering of the Flex. Can't seem to go wrong there.

    Ok, I'm gonna say it...

I've been riding for many years. A few dirt bikes and sport bikes when I was younger then moved on to an Arlen Ness and also a Deuce found it's way into my garage. I truly believe that after riding for so long you actually become a better vehicle driver..meaning you are simply more aware of...

    Time frame detailing car

I wouldn't see any harm as stated above. I would agree that claying again certainly wouldn't hurt anything. I detailed a very large truck (dually). It was a 2 day job so I simply kept it parked in the garage until the following morning. Good luck and send a few before/after. Good luck!

    Time frame detailing car

First and foremost, you do not want to be compounding and polishing in direct sunlight on hot paint. What I would do in your situation is plan your method of attack using the morning hours. So, in the morning if the sun rises behind your house you have a few hours right there of shade up front...
