Do you have a shaded place to do work at your apartment? I have a parking garage. What I do is pick up two 2.5 gal jugs of water at the grocery store and then do an ONR wash. I still go to a self-serve car wash if I want to do the wheels. I just make sure that I'm only using the RINSE option...

There was a post not long ago about somebody noticing a difference between Liquid Souveran in Autogeek's samples. He was comparing an old and new sample and they were different colors.

I have the Autogeek sample, so I don't have the directions on mine. I'd say its the consistency of a typical hand lotion. Similar to most other tire gels I have used. I'd imagine moistening the applicator is a way to prime the pad so it moves smoothly over the tire.

Have you thought about switching to a quick detailer like Speed Shine? For light dust that's all that I typically use. It'd probably give you a little more shine. It's also cheaper than the Spray On Car Wash!
