Blacklight is more of a sealant. Try CG ez creme II, it works wonders.

Except the machine comes with the backing plate so Im a little surprised its not part of the listed weight. Its like weighing a car without wheels lol Then again, the backing plate cant weight 1lb. 5.1lb to 6.1lb means something isnt right here.

If you are doing it for your own cars get the 15mm. It will fit in more places and you can always get the 6" backing plate for it too.

Technically the Griots should way significantly less than the Rupes according to printed weight figures. About 9oz which you will feel after using it for a few hours.
