    a light for spotting swirls

Here's the exact one I bought from Walmart. It's nothing special at all but works great when doing paint corrections. It also doubles as a heater in colder weather lol. Oh and the flashlight app for your smartphone from Android or Iphone store works surprisingly well for spotting defects up...

    a light for spotting swirls

Halogen work lights do an awesome job at highlighting swirls. You can get them fairly cheap from Walmart or Home Depot.

    Carpet Cleaning

Yeah Folex is a great product to use with or instead of APC. It requires little to no "rinsing" depending on the task at hand.

I'm Going Back To Basics with an AIO

No what I meant was that I use either a orange OR white pad depending on the task at hand. On most newer paints that barely have any swirls or other defects I'll use the white pad since its less aggressive. For paints that have more defects I'll use the orange pad. There's probably no real...

I'm Going Back To Basics with an AIO

Yeah I'm sure there are a lot of opinions of what classifies a product as an AIO but I consider it something that can remove light-moderate defects while providing some protection whether its a sealant or wax. If it does it in one step I like to think of it as an AIO. On the front of the bottle...

I'm Going Back To Basics with an AIO

Yeah I use a LC Orange/White with my Flex 3401 on speed 5 or so. It can leave trim with some white marks if your not careful but I've been able to remove the white marks with my Griots Wax remover or even just QD sometimes.

I'm Going Back To Basics with an AIO

I'm Going Back To Basics with an AIO About 6 years ago when I first started using a DA for basic polishing/waxing I used regular OTC Megs Cleaner Wax with great results. When I found AG about 5 years ago I decided to try different AIO products that were more expensive but claimed to have...

Review: Solution Finish “Brings Black Back” (Trim Restoration Product)

Wow Corey great review. I've added this product to my cart now for my next purchase thanks to you. Btw I'm not sure if you knew or not but your review on AG's website for the 1oz size is only 1 star lol.

Mytee Lite II Vs. VX-5000 Steamer

I too have the Mytee Lite II and absolutely love it for extraction. I rarely use my steamer for carpets unless I get those spots of grime that turn rock hard and embed in the carpet. My procedure for carpet is to pre-treat with Folex but sometimes I use a mix of Folex and APC+ for really bad...

    Cleaning the Engine?

I've used all kinds of degreaser's and APC's and some of those worked pretty good but once I tried Amazing Roll Off I will never use anything else. I use it at 1:10 dilution for most jobs and tougher jobs I'll use it at 1:1 or even full strength. ARO really shines on the painted area's under the...

    How do YOU clean windows?

I've played around with a couple different ways to clean glass and the best I've found so far is Stoner's Invisible Glass with a terry cloth. I just make sure I start to use the dry side of the cloth before the glass cleaner can dry.

About to Buy a Dupray Steam Cleaner(I think)

Well I paid for it on the 10th from their website but I havent gotten any tracking info or anything yet and I don't know where its coming from. I just did a huge Ford Expedition(light tan interior) that was really nasty and I really wish I would have had my steamer for this job. I'm just really...

How to Make 303 with Perl??

Yeah I heard about the main ingredient being the same from Avi@CarPro like WRXINXS said. I found it out here. http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-101/35151-trouble-using-perl-2.html

How to Make 303 with Perl??

I heard that Perl is nearly identical to 303 based off the main "ingredient" that they both use but Perl is just more concentrated. My question is if anyone has found a good dilution of Perl that makes it nearly identical to the look of 303 or is this impossible? Currently 303 is my go to...

About to Buy a Dupray Steam Cleaner(I think)

Thanks man! Does your Dupray blow the VX5000 out of the water in performance or is it pretty similar? I almost bought the Hill Injection but dropping nearly $2k on the Hill Super Inox was pushing it for me lol. I just really hope my steamer would outperform the VX5000 considering the price I...

About to Buy a Dupray Steam Cleaner(I think)

I guess Dupray isn't too popular here lol. I still went ahead and just bought the Dupray Super Inox anyway. I cant wait to try it out. I'm really hoping this cuts my interior cleaning time down once I find a good rhythm. If anyone else here has a Dupray please lmk what you think about it. Thanks!
