    Tiny Scratches in LSP?

So I finished doing a full paint correction, sealed with powerlock then topped with P21s on a clients black 2010 Porsche turbo about 5 days ago and the car sat collecting dust since then. I went to touch it up outside by using my California car duster very very lightly then used Meguiars final...

    Ultima UTTG Application

Hmmmm depending how long you waited between apc and uttg application the apc might not have fully dried or wasnt completely wiped away which could've affected the performance of the uttg. Apc can leave behind a residue once it dries. Once i go over anything with apc I have a dry towel to buff...

    Daytona Speed Master Wheel Brush

It was the last bogo I think. They were only up for a couple of days since they had limited quantities to sell. You really gotta jump on certain bogo items like the first or second day the bogo starts. I wish I would of got the Daytona Jr brush too knowing how awesome the regular is:(

Has Anyone Tried this Sonax Product?

I've used it once since I've had it. It went on and came off pretty easy and left a really good shine. I applied it by hand using the supplied sponge attatched to the bottom of the bottle. The only thing I didnt like was the smell which was like cheap lemon scent furniture polish.

    Daytona Speed Master Wheel Brush

I bought this brush because I was looking for a "corn cob" style brush and these were on BOGO. I couldn't see myself spending $30 on a wheel brush but for two it seemed worth it. I must say though after using this brush I definitely should've bought one a long time ago at $30. I just started...

    Griot's Garage Steam cleaner

Has anyone here purchased one of these yet? It seems like a very good deal for the price and I'm on the fence about buying it. Just seeing if anyone has heard anthing about them or used them. Griots offers a quick one minute video on it but its not very detailed. Heres a link to the steamer...

    DP Waterless Auto Wash

Thanks and I agree. I hate it when I have to scroll forever to find the matching after shots in some peoples threads. At what ratio would you use the ONR as a waterless wash? Or would you just use it at QD strength and it be the same thing? I have some ONR at QD and clay lube strength but...

    DP Waterless Auto Wash

Yes I have and it works great. Used it on the wheels, wheel wells, tires, trim, paint, exhaust and every other exterior surface. Cleaned up just fine and left a freshly waxed appearance on almost everything I used it on.

    DP Waterless Auto Wash

I finally remembered to take some before/after pics using this product so I thought I'd share my experience with it and why I love it. First off I must say this product works excellent if your trying to do a waterless wash. I personally don't do too many of them but I have and it seriously makes...

    Favorite Correction Method Using 3401

Of course this all varies with certain factors to take into consideration but say you were about to do a correction on a very swirled out black car. Whats your pads, compound and polishes of choice also what speed for each step. Since the Flex 3401 is completely different from traditional da's I...

    15% off everything at autopia.

Can you get the 15% off the items that are already in the "on sale" section? M105 is on sale for 23.99 and an extra 15% off would be really nice so I was just wondering.

    Menzerna Power Gloss

Are you priming the pad? I use pinnacle pad conditioner with Powergloss and have had great results with very long working times. The only time its ever really dried on me is if I was dry buffing. Also the clumps are probably from either using too much product, dry buffing or not cleaning the pad...

    Flex 3401 Felt Ring Purpose???

I hear you can use the regular "3 in 1" oil to do this. Anyone know if that is true or should I go to lowes or something and find air tool specific oil?

    What's the best/most dramatic correction you've done?

So recently a buddy of mine bought a red 1990 240sx. He got a hell of a deal on it especially since the original owner thought that the passenger side door needed repainted. My friend who is very familiar with my work looked at the door as something I could fix with polishing so he bought the...

Using Menzerna Polish on Brand New Paint

Great thanks guys! I didn't feel any over spray or other contaminants that would indicate claying being necessary especially since the client is on a tight budget. I think I'll go over the freshly painted parts with some 85rd. I have SIP in case I do get some swirls in it.

Using Menzerna Polish on Brand New Paint

So I just picked up a clients car from the body shop for detailing. It had the rear bumper and rear hatch replaced and repainted. Of course when I picked it up the guy at the body shop says dont wax the panels that were just painted for 30 days. I say okay and bring the car back to my house. I'm...
