No BS Is The Flex 3401 Really Worth It?

No BS Is The Flex 3401 Really Worth It? So heres the situation. I have had my orginal PC 7424 since 2006 and it's the only buffer I own. Surprisingly I have done several corrections with this thing with no problem but there were always some cases where the PC just didnt have enough to do the...

    The "Most Durable" Thread....

Unless I missed it I'm surprised no one mentioned Klasse for paint sealant. This stuff is amazing and far exceeded my expectations. The acrylic based sealant is so much different than any other sealants I've used. It takes a little while to get your application technique down but once you get it...

New Product Line - Eco Touch!

Just curious but why would someone need an environment friendly leather cleaner? I can understand a car wash or wheel cleaner where run off would affect the environment but something that just stays on the interior shouldn't affect the environment right? Is it supposed to be healthier for you...

    New favorite combo---ONR + OID

I agree. I cant stand when people use acronyms like everyone is familiar with every product out there.

    Tax question

Very true. My accountant told me to set aside 1/3 of all money made(to be safe) to pay for taxes at the end of the year. This really sucks when your used to just pocketing the cash lol

Washed My C6 Corvette Z06 yesterday

Very nice pics and car. Dont you hate when the rotors intantly turn rusty when they get wet? This doesnt happen with my STi but it did happen on a 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo I detailed. Anyone know why this happens sometimes?

    Tax question

I would highly recommend getting an accountant. I just started my LLC this year and my accountant has been my best investment yet. I learned more important information about running my LLC in an hour with him than I did with several hours of research on the internet.

    What's the best/most dramatic correction you've done?

Here's one of my best before and after pics. For this I used Menzerna sip, Menzerna po85rd and topped it off with p21s. Also this was done with the original PC.

    Are there any detailers that.......

I get a lot of people that request scratch/scuff removals without a complete correction and as long as they buff out with compound(Menz PG) I charge anywhere from $5-$15 per scratch/scuff with no complaints. Once I go over the scratches individually I then go over the whole car with XMT360.

Has Anyone Tried this Sonax Product?

I was in a little bargain store around here and found this stuff for 1.99 a bottle so I grabbed two. The name at the bottom is what stuck out to me so I figured it could be worth a try. I also grabbed a couple bottles of the windshield washer additive by Sonax for .99 each to try. Has anyone...

Exterior Full Detail on a 2003 Honda S2000

Thanks for the compliments guys! Yeah I agree Honda needs to step up a little. I think the S2000 probably would have done a lot better if it wasn't so expensive brand new. Last time I was at Honda I saw one for $36000 which is rediculous IMO. I think it was the CR edition but still! I dont think...

    Interested in Selling/Installing Clear Bra's

Thanks for the info everyone. I of course would never buy some cheap no name film and risk the long term damaging affects. I would think that 3M would be considered "top of the line" as far as clear bra's go but I wouldnt know for sure and I dont think 3M would sell a product that would damage...

    Interested in Selling/Installing Clear Bra's

So I get asked a lot if I sell/install clear bra's and unfortunately I don't right now. I've done some research and clear bra's arent the hardest thing in the world to install and some kits are very cheap. I'm looking to sell/install clear bra's in the most cost effective and profitable way. A...

    Menzerna Powergloss and Headlights

That's great to hear! So what Megs pads do you use exactly? I have so many of those 3M drill adapters I'd love to not let them go to waste. Also what is your sanding technique if you don't mind me asking?

    Menzerna Powergloss and Headlights

So I've been doing a good bit of headlight restorations and I always use the 3M kit. I've noticed that a lot of the "pro's" are using just compounds and yellow/orange pads. Most of the people I've seen use compounds use M105 and M205. I just bought a 32 oz Powergloss and was wondering if anyone...

    Eagle one Nano Wax?!?!?!?!?

I may have to try this if I come across some cheap. I loooove Eagle Ones all wheel and tire cleaner. I buy it at Walmart all the time and have to keep several bottles in stock.

Whats the Best Way to Fix This?

The picture I took in this thread is of a Saab wheel. My 05 STi had the brake dust embedded into the surface of the silver wheels when I bought the car with 30k on it. I had them sanded down and painted black with a good bit of clear coat. There so much easier to clean and maintain now.
